Nadolig Llawen is SO similar to our Cornish Merry Christmas which is Nadelik Lowen. I really recommend the felix cardigan as a great basic pattern or the basic ones from tin can knits are great. Also look at the Finch Bucket bag the largest size is a good bag.

Hi Charlotte, here are a few patterns to look at. GARDEN cardigan, Harvest and Korokia they are all free as well; one is worsted but maybe you can figure that one out if chosen. I'm so sorry you are going through such suffering!

I knit a pair of socks with WYS Colour Lab DK yarn in the color way Rock, it is very nice to work and may be one for Tom.

There is a free dk weight pattern from The Crazy Sock Lady which calls for a 3.25mm needle. I have knit the larger size which is 56 stitches with that needle but wanted it a bit denser so tried a 3mm, next time will do the 3.25mm for cuff. I also cast on with the german twisted cast on. What's a dreamy?

I only have the Rhinebeck deck from Pacific Knit Co. But looking at the book, it has a couple of charts from that, so I'm guessing that it's a couple of charts from the other decks too. X
