Flight was about 4.5 hours. I don’t remember if they had power outlets and haven’t been on Southwest in a while.

Yes they had inflight entertainment in the seat in front of you. For the meals I got lunch and a snack before landing but you can always go in the back of the plane for some more snacks…happy flying

HARD landing mate. They bounced on initial contact with runway, then pilot dropped the nose quickly to avoid additional bounces.

And you know that why? You were also on the flight?
No, they 'bounced' when they first contacted the runway. NOT 'normal' by any stretch. Hard on the landing gear AND the passengers. They came in very fast, one would surmise gusting headwinds and possible windshear near the runway threshold.
@@scottmcdonaldAAL211 More likely pulled power back too early during flare and they were just barely floating in ground effect and dropped a significant amount.

This route ended service in October 2018. The only routes in the DC metro to EWR are DCA-EWR & IAD-EWR. Personally IMO I think DCA is at risk of being cut sometime in the future because it is run primarily by ERJ145’s and the occasional E175, and it is not one of United’s hub airport’s, as was the same situation as with BWI.
