    is it possible to disassemble the connector instead of soldering? I don't have a solder and i can't find connectors like that where i live

    • @darkwarrior478
      @darkwarrior478 10 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yes, it is absolutely possible but if you break one of the very tiny locks that hold the individual wire connector in place then you have to come up with a different plan, the way I solder them there is no issues, it is done and I can not break anything in the process unless I am very harsh taking them apart or reassembling them. Keep in mind that in order to see what you are doing you will need a microscope of some kind or magnifying glasses, just a thought from me.

      Yes, that is always an option, I have done it quite a few different ways to find the best, it does not take long to replace the connector if you have extra but breaking the tiny tabs is a real pain, I have found it saves me time to just cut harness and solder together.

I press the power button long enough to reset it, but it just won’t light up anymore too since then. Please I’m begging you, I just got this headphone not too long ago and idk what to do. • @darkwarrior478
      @darkwarrior478 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hard plastic, do not use super glue of any kind it just makes a mess, you are better off using a hot iron or even a soldering iron and remelt the plastic, practice on something else first and use a filter box fan or very good ventilation as you dont want to breath the fumes, once you get it figured out you will be able to plastic weld with the best of them, after doing this you can use fingernail file or sand paper to smooth it out, paint also if you like.

      I think what he is trying to say is using a very small needle you can lift the locks on the harness connector but again this is very tedious and if you break them its game over, It is honestly not that difficult to solder the wires, have done literally thousand of the wires now and it is very easy now after doing that many.

      I have honestly never ran into one that the bluetooth did not work on, are you using the sony application? Good plan, they will likely be coming out with new ones between spring and summer possibly.

    I'm glad I didn't drop the money on these things. I had the XM4 just long enough for the warranty to run out before it developed the well known squeal issue. I'm still using my Sennheiser 4.50BTNC purchased in 2017 that work perfectly and have only just replaced the ear pads on them. Would like to get a new set of cans but don't want a dud.

    Do you not recommend doing this on the right side? The battery is there so i was wondering if there was more that id need to know before i start tearing these down.

      If you break them on the right side then you do that side, if left then do the left side, it is the same either way, we have repaired so many of these it is just common place now, send me an email if you run into trouble.
