Gateway Auctions brings 20 years’ experience of timed-online auctions to the classic car market, holding monthly classic car sales from our NW base the hybrid format combines the traditional auction viewing experience with the convenience of timed online bidding; offering the best of both worlds.
All cars are presented honestly & transparently; with full descriptions and videos of the cars running & driving, on-site viewing prior to the auction as as well as ramp access and video call viewings on request.
Run by an experienced team, including Fuzz Townshend, Gateway is run by car people for car people.
For sellers, there’s the added benefit of no entry fees or sales commission, no upfront transport/collection charges and guaranteed payment for sold vehicles on the Friday following the end of the Monthly Thursday auction finish, plus a highly competitive buyers’ commission of just 10% plus VAT.

Had mine 5 years now & absolutely love it. So practical & have used it in many situations. Comfortable on long drives. Great for a blast on some country roads. Perfect investment as they’re getting rarer.
Strange valve set up on the engine, 6 overhead inlet valves, and 6 side valve exhaust valves!
yes very nice but 12 MPG and a really rusty chassis dont make any sense.
I got 17mpg out of my 110. 😄
I had a '56 Rover 90, same 2.6 litre engine, I got 20mpg and I've got a heavy right foot. Who said it has a rusty chassis?

I loved my two aunties, both 1952 75s, I saved both from two different local scrapyards back in the late 70s. Turned out they would have been on the production line together five cars apart. When my partner drove, I'd be sitting in the back snuggled down with my car rug and asleep within seconds. It was so comfy. 😊
I loved my old Aunties. During my Rover phase I had P4s of 75, 90, 100, 105R, and 110 variants, all working despite their being 20-30+ years old at acquisition. My favourite was a 1956 90, which I finally retired when it blew a head gasket at 512K miles.
I wish there were more available over here in the US. They are adorable little cars.❤

Many classics are ULEZ exempt, it’s very easy to check, just need to put the reg number on the gov website checker and it lets you know.
@@gatewayauctionsclassics exempt now but will they be in 27
Only payable if you go into a Ulez zone which for most people is unlikely.

I used to have Ford Escort 1.3L mk2 1980V, Escort 1.3L mk3 Yreg&Orion 1.6GL mk2 87D. Only the Orion was unreliable.
The Escort 2000 mls doesn't surprise me , we had a new one 1984 cud'nt rely on it to get out of the drive absolute nightmare, good luck who ever gets that lol
