I’m about to have my eviction case thrown out because my lawyer used to process server than I just found out had multiple complaints against them and had their license renewal denied. At court yesterday the judge coached the tenant how to file the papers needed because she is stating that she wasn’t served. Now we are waiting for the judge to decide whether he wants allow a traverse hearing. I’m about to cut my losses and hire another atty to serve the tenant again. And start all over, RIGHT NOW. I don’t see the point in going to a hearing where the judge is likely to dismiss. Smh

Excelente video saludos, en mi caso por primera vez estoy solicitando un itin number por mí mismo si tener que ir a otro lado y me cobren más, pero me entregaron ese formulario 1040 como lo hago si donde he trabajado no he reportado taxes ? Pedirla con la Forma 4506-T, Request for Transcript of Tax Return, escoger la casilla W2. Por ley todos los empleadores deben entregar la información de la W2 a la IRS como último día el 31 de enero, para evitar ser multados. Cuando recibas la Forma W2 verifica que los montos concuerdan con lo que te pagaron en el año, pero claro considera los taxes federales y estatales que te deducieron de tus cheques, porque es sospechoso que no te la quieran dar.

I inherited a house from my grandpa in 2014. But in 2008, he was issued a sidewalk violation. It was fixed in 2015, but the DOB website still shows an active violation. I requested a violation dismissal now in 2023 because I’m trying to sell the house and the buyer refuses to close with escrow because he wants a clear title. I am now scared that it’s been several years since those repairs were done, we’ll get a new inspector, and they will find something or another to have me fix costing more money and potentially losing the buyer since he can back out of the contract which is due to expire Jan 4. That deadline doesn’t give me enough time to do any repairs if an inspector finds something else wrong with the sidewalk. What would you suggest we do in this situation? Still not exactly sure why we can’t close with escrow, with me still being responsible to address the sidewalk after closing. My lawyer and Realtor think he’s just trying to postpone closing for a lower interest rate. He has already had to pay adjournment fees for changing his story with this entire situation, and now refuses escrow altogether.
Hi I have a partial vacate order on a floor in the property that is owned by my mom. This floor was constructed as 7 SRO's which the city deemed as illegal dwellings. We informed the tenants they could not reside there but they refuse to leave. We took them to court after serving them with notice of 90 days and prior to that they were given time without collecting rent of any kind to find a new place to reside. Our case was ruled defacto rent stabilized for the tenant regardless of the fact that there is a partial vacate order. We cannot issue them a lease either for this very same reason and they are refusing to leave. Do you have any recommendations. We really need help and we are stuck between a rock and a hard place.
