A house pet that kept escaping meant he didnt have a flight area and would take his chances out of often opened windows or a door. No offence but for police to get so upset they tell the owners to trap him or rehome him; he must have been at risk in town alot. He probably is alot happier. This is why normal homes shouldnt have owls. Look how tame he is tho he was ptobably babied im sure they loved him but british homes arent exactly owl friendly

God bless them all! Cat lover here,....never had more than two at a time, as house cats. But I was "the stray cat guy" in my neighborhood. For 10 years I fed all the neighborhood wandering cats. Most of them had homes, and just liked wandering around. Many had collars, none looked underfed. Two of the 10, were regulars. None wanted to come inside my enclosed back porch, except during the coldest & snowiest winters. My neighbors all contributed in feeding them. Each cat had been given multiple names. I'm in Columbus, Ohio, in the USA.

I love my 1 cat. This however is a nightmare.

I visited Lynea's cat shelter on 3 times. Everything was clean and organized. What dedication. Cats were happy and healthy. The cats could roam as they please. Lynea is a saint and everyone should support her in anyway they can. Really admire her spirit.

I've known a lot of crazy cat people (men and women) and I was glad to not have to step into their houses. Very smelly and just yuck! More than one or two cats: that's too many!

So what you telling us had city planner stopped giving out housing permits 20 years ago there would not be any water shortage? So now you suggest beavers should fix this problem that humans created. I first visited Vegas in 1980 when city was designed for adults. Can anybody explain to me why Vegas needed to be turned in to Disney? Does anyone know about all the water in mid west around great lakes. As humans we are funny, we build homes above wells, ( aka basements) and then try to keep water out, we built city's in a desert and then bitch about lack water, we built city's below ocean level and the bitch that they get folded because pumps didn't work properly.

I bought a house and I didn't realize it came with roughly 20 cats, feral & dumps - mostly. I did have 4 cats plus my mom's when I bought the place. Thats probably why I currently still feed roughly 23 cats. No, the math is roughly correct, my large yard now has a kitty grave yard. 1st counting 20 cats isnt easy, so i have no idea how shed honestly count 1,000 cats. 2nd the cost of feeding 20 cats is difficult. Even painful on a retired person's income. Thanks to kind & generous programs that goes for prevention over mass euthanasia. (Google the number of dogs & cats euthanized each year... if you dare - then DONATE right after you spay your pets!) Thanks to generous people who've donated, our neighborhood has rounded up &/or trapped all the strays for fixing. All have been fi but 1, Twin the Terrorists! She's a sweet female with a nose for traps!!! Most of the cats are outside, tho we have a small shelter they can use for really bad weather. I understand how 20 can happen but not 1,000.

The cats seem to be quite vocal. I don't know how normal that is, or whether it's because there are so many of them. I've never heard so much meowing from cats before. It would drive me nuts!!

Part 2 There was a separate trailer on the property of the ASPCA cat shelter that housed all of the healthy kittens. I worked at Tony La Russas Animal Rescue Foundation in Walnut Creek CA. I flew in to Jacksonville FL with a team of 4 others from my job. It took about 40 volunteers split into about 7 different categories that rotated every day. There was zero air conditioning as most of the cats were kept in dog runs. I remember one row of cats had about 50-100 to feed. Feeding and medicating alone, took 5 hrs just to prepare to do it all again.

Part 1 Bless Linnae’s heart, she was no longer able to care for all 1,000 cats. Don’t be fooled! The woman in the first clip with a thousand cats was considered an animal hoarder by the ASPCA in FL in 2012. I know first hand because I volunteered to care for these cats for a two week shift, 10 hr days! She was investigated for two years prior and that’s how long it took for the ASPCA to set up an entire shelter to house all of the cats. There was a pregnancy ward, ringworm quarantine with about 20 cats that had to be lime dipped weekly. There were about 10 cats in Critical care due to neglect. The collars on some of the cats deteriorated and some cats swallowed the red collar string it was from their mouth and coming out of their bottom, cats that were weak and lethargic, feline leukemia, fiv+ and more. It was horrific. There was even a feral cat section for the ones that were wild. I worked side by side with volunteer vet techs and vets. It was quite the operation to care for these pets while the investigation and prosecution continued for this lady. She unfortunately could NOT care for them all. ASPCA reached out to animal shelters across the nation that were able to spare animal experienced handlers such as myself. I’ll never forget the things I saw. 💔💔💔

Me hoping she lives in a mansion after reading the title. I share my bedroom with two kittens and a dog at night and regret it. 😂 They’re loud and love to play on top of me while I sleep. I still love them though.

I like cats but this has to be one of the most annoying cat documentaries that I have ever seen! They have this almost constant sound track of cats meowing or screaming! Cats do not make that sound constantly! Most cats are silent though there are some breeds that think that they can talk they are not as annoying as this sound track is. Weird.

BTW: What does she do for a living?
