yes, this is what he should focus on. it won't effect the community but also helps ones with no money to spend on a games. (i hope) - personal view.
I only use this for fun, or whenever there's another cheater lol. I don't use it to win, just to surprise people. If I do use it I just let them win anyways. But this is super impressive and very well made. Good job!

congrats. this is not just a risk hack. Its a multiplayer model fail hack. truth is, the app stores should not even let apps release with this type of vulnerability. Perhaps the game is sandboxed, perhaps not, but the fact is, you are controlling bits on someone else computer with peer to peer memory sync. keep up the good work! life isn't a game, neither are your software skills!
You know, I didnt actually think about it like that at first but you are right. We are changing memory on another persons machine. Its not any message, but it is interesting to think of like that
I just want everybody to know that i used this hack in a few games without any big cheats and i got banned which lead to VAC ban on most games so dont do it

It has been 6 months since I showed how there were syncing games in a bad way. They should have fixed it by now.
Almost every game I play people are using this. Especially when there is fog of war. Just ruined the game for me

In fairness to him, RISK did do a good job of banning lots of people pretty quickly. There are a couple ways to still do things you shouldnt be able to online, but you can see the cheat usage stats declining. tooomm.github.io/github-release-stats/?username=devchilly&repository=RISKHackTool Of course there are other tools but I think this one is the most public rn.

I actually spent quite a bit of time looking into this but it was pretty difficult. There is a way im sure but just would have to find it

Would have never thought to do fog of war hack very cool. If you want to spoil the game set the troop deploy amount to a negative number... gives infinite units, tested this yesterday with billions of troops in casual lmao.
