I hate when people move down here from up north and then want to get all political and change our states culture and Politics. If you want to live down here then you need to adapt to our culture and ways. Abortions kill more kids than guns. Over 6000 abortion deaths in 2022 and 127 gun deaths for children which includes gang violence and 18 and 19 year olds which are not children so even that number 127 is dishonest. If you don’t like the slow God loving gun carrying culture in South Carolina then get the heck out. We don’t want you here.

It is true, some 10 years old tires could be better than 4 years old. It depends on what brands/model and how they are kept. Garage kept cars rarely have dry rot even after 10 years like mine.

So why didn't tires dry rot years ago? I have a 37+ year old full size spare for my '75 Nova that has never dry rotted.

We can meet, talk to each other and know each other, get some info from town officials or even invite somebody from AirB&B or VRBO. It can be even paid event bringing revenue for Mt. Pleasant. I would be more than happy to help with such an event (as a volunteer😀).

I have six trailers, all parked in the barn. Last year I had to buy 4 sets,,COMPLETE SETS of tires. Over $4000 Thanks for the info.
