I think its not a good moment and not so well in his character. Its really stops me from playing female characters in the game and hardlock me with humans route. I know im late and probably it will be never fixed. But i can dream...

I accidentally dumped Alastair while romancing Leliana My god that was painful I had to re reload an old save game to keep the romance only with leleana and not hurt Alistair hes such a good bro I compensated him in the next run by making him king and romancing him 😉

the first time i played origins i was a young teenager. my friend who played a throne-destined cousland said i haaaad to romance alistair it was the best. i was playing a surana. when he dumped me, i was sour. but this banter was what actually made me pissed. he is NOT allowed to be sad when HE dumped ME. i force quit the game and started over, recreated the same character and everything. but romanced leliana instead 😂 and didn’t think twice when my bestie morrigan asked me to convince him to sleep with her to save my life. “she walks a dark path” he had the nerve to say in inquisition. sir, you agreed and slid into morrigan’s dark path so don’t put this all on me, we ALL do. he never offered to slay the archdemon, childish mf thinks the grey wardens are supposed to be some valiant do gooders until it’s his turn.

I wonder what drove Alistair or the Warden to end their relationship.

I've just recently finished my very first DA:O playthrough, 14 years after the release of the game. I was looking for games similar to BG3; ones that are lightweight for low end PCs (or laptop in my case) since I have a very old laptop and haven't had the budget to switch to a new one just yet. At first I was not too keen on playing DA:O due to the dated graphics, but I forced myself to anyway. That's probably the best decision I've made in the past month haha. The visuals became bearable after a few hours in (and I even fell in love with it), and the story, dialogues (the banters are VERY enjoyable), as well as the gameplay are just immaculate.

I'm currently playing BG3 and I'm having a lot of fun but this...remembering the days where I'd get up at 7am and play Dragon Age brings back so many waves of nostalgia. Dragon Age is the reason I love fantasy, RPGs and even D&D! Apart from Zeveran; Alistsair will always be my favorite character from DA

If I get Dragon-Age Origins woud I get to hear this?

He should have carried through on that threat.

And this is why I make sure to harden his personality when I play a non-human non-Mage character.
