Kampala - The buzzing capital city of Uganda
มุมมอง 2.7Kหลายเดือนก่อน
Visiting Kampala was so interesting, we would recommend to spend at least a full week there as there is a lot to see and experience! We did some couchsurfing staying with locals and we met Yussuf and Ronald who are running an amazing charity to help street kids in Kampala, we went to visit the slums with them and saw the terrible conditions in which those kids have to live. We have been setting...

มุมมอง 4763 หลายเดือนก่อน
After the gorilla trekking we had the opportunity to meet the Batwa people, the pygmy tribe that used to live in the forest. Unfortunately due to the efforts for gorilla conservation they are being pushed out of their home and forced to live outside their usual environment. They are experiencing a lot of struggles and racism due to their differences such as being shorter in height but they are ...
Gorilla Trekking in Uganda - is it worth it?

One of the best places to do gorilla trekking in Africa is definitely in Uganda. Mountain gorillas as their name suggests live in the mountains so be ready for a challenging walk! What to wear for gorilla trekking? Make sure you wear good walking shoes and if you can...

Can you believe some guy killed a gorilla about 2 years ago? He is in prison serving 15 years
Wow so sad 😞 I know some gorillas are killed for their meat in conflict areas in DRC as well 😢
I recently watched "The Legend of Tarzan" and I got interested in mountain gorillas. Thanks for featuring them!
It's not the presidential Palace but King's Palace

We do appreciate you guys for showcasing africa and Uganda at large . Much appreciation
Lake bunyonyi known as the lake of birds is the deepest lake in Uganda and the second deepest in Africa after lake Tanganyika
Excellent video, a great insight for me as I plan on being there in June (2024), what month were you at Mabamba
Thank you! We were there in early September but I think you can see the shoebills all year round
Thanks! I’m going for 3 weeks in June to primarily photograph Shoebills and Gorillas, so I was wondering if you’d been there in the rainy season.

BLESS THEIR HEARTS AND SOULS LITTLE ANGELS BEAUTIFUL ❤️❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍😍
Im watching your video from a small town near Manchester UK, thank you for visiting and share my beautiful country to the world, next time you can visit eastern side of the island special the no human live island the Jaco island, and go climb the peak mountain mount of Ramelau located in the central of the island when you fly from Darwin you can see the mountain has the same elevation with the flight attitude and you can see through your left side of the window. Definitely We need more basic infrastructure to accommodate visitors in the future, cheap convenience public transport with facilities and the most important is the cheap flight to and out from the country. Thank you for your visit and wish to see you again in the future.
Thank you for your tips on places to go in Timor, we wanted to go to Jaco Island but didn’t make it this time. We will definitely be back to Timor to explore more of this beautiful country! 😊
Through your hardships I got a chance to see the gorillas😊
It was so worth the effort! 🦍😅
Hi! May we please ask you where you rented the car and how much you paid per day? We are looking to hire a car to go around Dili a few days before heading to Atauro, local tours are too expensive. Thanks a lot!
Hello! We didn’t rent a car in Dili, we actually used the microlets which are local vans you can take for 25-50 cents to get around. We didn’t go outside of Dili but we heard from friends it is better to hire a driver as roads can be tricky and they will know where to take you! You could share with other travellers too!
You can hire a motorbike wich is more cheap, you need to ask the local they are willing to help. Car is a bit expensive as they only have 4x wheel drive due to the terain a bit challenging if you never experienced driving in hills and nerrow road.
