    Now you can see why the surferbois used to toss in at the end of the pier to get behind the break. Of course, the city wasn’t too fond of those kinds of shenanigans. Insurance and law suits and so forth. Nowadays they just close the thing down when things get a little sporty. Great video though.

    Moving here in 3 weeks :) Near Family, away from the SFV after 52 years. I don't recognize the SFV anymore. My Brothers say its paradise in WLV . Apparently I will learn the "Westlake Way" which is like the Miyagi Way .. or something like that :) I am really excited . Westlake Village Ca, cya soon !!

    Do you know if the land around that lake is public, accessible to hikers? I have wanted to go hiking and explore around the northern part of the lake by that large rock but was uncertain if it's private property. Beautiful video.

      Conejo Open Space Cnsv Agy owns that land. Not sure if it is open to the public. Maybe one day.

      This was May 2nd, 2023 Tuesday of this week. They were the only whales I saw that day. They hung out for over an hour.
