There are three cards misprinted all having “The Wheel Of Fortune” written on them, as well as rough edges and misaligned cuts on mine. I paid a decent price for them, but magic marker made everything all right. Supported my local Botanica and got a very colorful version of a deck I always wanted. :-)

It is likely that the misaligned printing and rough edges are the reason this deck was on sale. I don't mind at all, I was always planning to trim it into a borderless version. Overall, I LOVE the colors and it is hard to hate a deck of cards for such a low price 🥰

The 2 of Emotions represents the 2 of Cups in a traditional tarot deck. I like how all the romantic cards in this deck have non-romantic options, like a creative partnership or friendship. The guidebook gives a few keywords and a journaling prompt followed by a poem in prose describing the card and a poem in verse at the end. From the digital art in the card to the words used in the guidebook, this deck is a delight to read for me! This card description in particular makes me wish poetry would flow just as easily from my pen... I know it will happen someday 💜

Ah! The One, don't we all want to be or meet The One? Even though it implies exclusion when dark, it feels to me like universal inclusion for those that seek it. I definitively need to accept my limitations more if I am to produce any self compassion... Well, no one said it was going to be easy!

A full moon over the sea is quite spectacular and it's divine to contemplate. Trusting myself often involves being in the moment. Anxiety happens when I am not experiencing "the moment"

Trusting your body wisdom and instincts is always good advice, specially in the creative process. Here I am, open to new experiences, though not with illegal substances or alcohol, but maybe going to explore an area of the city I've never been to or watching something on streaming out of my comfort zone. High-energy activities need not apply. Besides, these cards look like they belong in a museum!

Doesn't that cauliflower look delicious? This is the most "witchy" deck I have and I love the watercolor paintings. I often try to see transition periods as fixed dates in my lifespan, but the reality is that everyday I am different from the next and the only constant in my life are transitions. It makes life exciting, although sometimes I do wish for stability and comfort. Art gives that to me, even though my body doesn't allow me to create every time I want, I can for sure appreciate it around me.

I was drawn to this deck for the artwork. I touched up the colors on this video, but the original art is still stunning. How appropriate that the word "cultivate" came out, I always find new things to look at in these cards. It is a contemplative practice that soothes me. The astrology aspect of this deck is not as appealing to me, but I like that Pluto is still there.

A new emotional connection always makes me feel reinvigorated, provided I have plenty of rest later! Emotional intimacy is so healing, it tends to wash away any creative block I could have at the moment.

Thresholds can be scary, but I feel I have grown accustomed to the liminal. I discovered my liking of elevator music with "let's play" videos of the game Superliminal. It provides some comfort 😊

The beautiful and colorful drawings of this deck always put me in a good mood. This deck was created to help people verbalize emotions when it is hard to do so. Even the cards that portray negative emotions are so soothing and cathartic. I can really feel the excitement from the card just by looking at it.

Being in water is such a bliss to me! The picture on the card just makes me want to take a dip. Water has always felt like a gentle caress, it makes me wonder if it's because it triggers some unconscious relation to the womb.

Personally, the cycle of attraction and repulsion towards my creations takes a toll on me. I still don't know how to harness that frustration into more art, but that is the dream.
