In TBC it was recommended to have it on. That is not WOTLK. So there's nothing wrong in it that I use it,
Its veryyyy unlikely the warrior would have to have been a total tard like tryed to range the hunter

not really, if the warrior is badly geared and the hunter is well geard, well specced and knows what he's doing, he could take him out.
