Such lovely footages you have! I'm staying at the grand memories at cayo santa maria this coming Chrismas, saw the wildlife refugio just south of the resort strip and really want to make a day out there. Is it easy to walk to? Google map is showing a 40-50 min walk from the resort plaza along the main road, but I'm wondering if there is good trials that is not visible on the map. Thank you :)
Hi @Rainloveya. I enjoy exploring and birding by walking everywhere because I see more. Walking to and from the refugio, I found the R. Spoonbills, Tricolored Herons, White-cheeked Pintails, and many more species, and at the refugio I was pleased to see Limpkin, etc. My hikes there and back were maybe four hours in total, so the beer back at the resort tasted delicious. :-) If you're not into hiking, perhaps best to save your energies get a ride to and from the refugio. Enjoy your getaway.
Amazing footage.. Thanks for sharing. Count a new friend with like & Sub.. Let's connect. I hope you'll like to some Indian birds and wildlife at my channel.
0:45 - Gyrfalcon! What an amazing bird. I only saw it sitting on a pole. Also, it is kind of fitting that the song says "Turn yourself around 180" when the Snowy Owl was in the video! Regarding the credits, was there not also a Harrier?
I've seen this before out in the field. It is just the coolest thing I'd seen a bird do in a long time. They make a loud short "PEENT" then throw their head across their back.
Sensacional piu piu ... ❤
That osprey eating the fish is spectacular. Lots of great footage in this video I have pressed the sub button to add our support👍
Wow! You certainly found some truly striking colourful birds. I guess the Raven always sneaks in😁👍

What's your life list after this trip?

Wow! Where did you get those Long-tails?
"On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me, a thousand starlings in a tree!"
Wow! I haven't seen that many Starlings since the spring!!!
