Welcome to Shooting Alaska! I plan on showing average people enjoying the shooting sports. We all like to watch the pros draw and shoot in under a second or run a 3 gun course wearing a sponsors shirt. But thats just a small part of these sports. It starts with you and your buddies getting together and shooting someones gun at your cabin. Then you get a your own gun and a membership at your local range and your eyes get opened to the shooting sports. Steel Challenge, 3-Gun, Trap, Skeet or league shooting. And BAM! Your hooked. My squad has shot together for quite some time. This league we decided to all shoot the same gun every week and rotate the guns weekly. So it's just for the fun of it.

Are all you guys using the same gun? I remember that stage but I dont remember shooting support hand for that stage. Did 22s have a different rule?
So yes, we're using the same gun. We decided to run a different .22 every week, and we'd all shoot it. And no there was no reason to shoot weak hand. One of the guys is recovering from a broken right hand so the squad is shooting weak hand with him. You "might" notice that shooting someone else's gun every week and shooting it weak hand has had a bit of an impact on our scores! LOL It's gonna be a work in progress. We're all shooting the same gun weak hand for Lo Cap also. So, look for my name at the bottom of the list!🤣

How do you set up those cameras, insta 360 I assume, really nice work would like to get some tips to set up the cameras
I wish I had a couple instas! But no... Their regular GoPro's. I've got one 5, five 7s, five 8's and 4 sessions. All have either a 128 or a 256 sd card and an external power pack. So when it's not too cold or hot I can get 6-9 hours out of them. Then you just put them everywhere you this people will shoot from. LOL Sounds like a lot but I got them all used for $100 or less. Anyways, thanks for watching.

Single stack definitely adds difficulty. Awesome runs. How you handle and clear the "disaster" shows significant skill.

It's crazy, but it actually makes a difference.
The pistol is not considered holstered until it is fully seated with the trigger inaccessible. This clip helps explain the answer according to USPSA rules (and a reasonable standard across other action shooting events). @@prone_wolf8871 The weekly stages are between 45-50 hits. Keep in mind that doesn't factor in misses. lol As far as gear you need a holster that covers the trigger and enough mags to cover the 50 hits. So if you bring a G19 that holds 17+1, you'll want at least 3 magazines if not 4. If you're shooting a single stack 1911 you'll need more. League nights are Wed, Thur and Fri. You should swing by and just check it out. I shoot Fri at 6 and you more than welcome to come watch.
