I built a 1;20th scale model of the McCleery Walter coverd bridge for Jessica Walter of Fairfield County OH I live in otway Ohio and pass through Chillicothe once every other week for ma's prescriptions and I pass by the real sciotoville bridge every Friday for the horses feed at rural king in portsmouth is there any way i could meet the guy who has this model bridge over his pond? Because this tickles me pink and i kind of want to meet some of the other locals who do g scale model trains in South Central ohio the only other guy i know who does model railroading in g scale is Mathew the state's most senior naturalist&a teacher at Shawnee state

I remember running on the St John a very very long time ago. Is this video really old?

The cost to remove it was surely more than any of us could afford. It was part of the local garden RR club's open yard tour every year at the holidays and it would draw thousands of people. Then all of a sudden, it wasn't part of the tour any more. And now it's gone. A very strange piece of local history here in Az.

I like your layout, however if you were to add two switches on one side between the ends of the crossover bridge, you would be able to change the direction of travel around your layout.

I'd love to see how you fold up your bridges and get them into the garage so that you can make use of the driveway and I'd like to see where you can change the levels, if you can to use all of your track for one train. Still a very impressive layout to watch. Thanks for posting this must see video.

I think you need too be more polite when you're talking to children.

My wife and I had a similar G gage RR in our last house. Only difference was when we built the house, we had shelving with built in outlets on top. It made it easy to install all the track, houses and lighting. Only problem we found was how noisy the trains were. Even with foam insulation under the track. So we only ran the trains during our Christmas party or when the grandkids came over. Did the same thing in our garage, but in HO scale. Much quieter.

Rick Cartwright..what an a-hole! So where's the footage of the fist fight that broke out? Rick Cartwright stole so many trains from so many folks and from St. Aubin that he should have arrested but instead he fleed to the Pacific NorthWest. St. Aubin had a deal where if you bought a 5-car USAT intermodal set it would be sent to Cartwright for the world's longest train. Upon completion Rick would send the cars to the owner with a certificate about the WLT. BUT he ended up keeping the cars and selling them at trainshows for $100 per set. I looked at 10 sets at the 2009 show in Atlanta promoted by Dave Roberts and they were beat to death, pulled apart, many deck pieces missing etc. That dude along with Dennis Sirrine are bad news. Can't believe that you're promoting both!

Damn~!!! This is beautiful. I bought O gauge trains. The last time I put a train set-up together was in 1977 and it was an HO, in my living room in a Brooklyn apartment on (2) 4x8 boards. I'm in a house in Texas now and looking at what you have built has got me drooling. Problem is I'm 80 now. What do you think are my chances? Don't talk about grands - they are absolutely useless.

I assume to this layout is no more, since this was a long time ago and people said he sold on eBay? So is the layout gone?
