Pt.2 '93 HB Cruisers Bel-Air 1 of 7(Lowrider Version)
Here's a quick update on my 1993 HB Cruisers Bel-Air, 1 of only 7 custom built frames. I chose to build my lowrider version of this bad ass frame, an early design by the great Robert Belyea and his crew out of Huntington Beach, California. I still have a few changes to make before I bring it back out for Spring...🤘😎

Dec.'72 Schwinn Bantam in Kool Lemon '73 Color

A new Pickup today, out of Brooklyn, WI. December 1972 Schwinn Bantam, in a '73 "Kool Lemon" color. 1972 they would have only came in Campus Green or Flamboyant Red colors only. This frame must have been leftover surplus from '72 and dressed as a '73. Not uncommon at all for that to happen back then. Paint is original but rough. The chrome will surely clean up some. Here is a very very rare, now vintage, HB Cruisers "Bel-Air", custom, stretch- bicycle. Designed and built by Robert Belyea of HB Cruisers out of Huntington Beach, California, around 1992-94. Just grabbed this neat build off of fb marketplace today. 1/15/1962 Schwinn 24", unknown model. Frame has been modified to fit the engine which was done back in the early 1970's. Neat seat and sissybar as well as a headlight, speedo, mirror and rear tail light. Not quite sure how to mess with it. May just remove some parts off it and sell it to someone who knows how to get it going. Cool vintag...

I have an 2000 felt crusier that has been motorized looks like an old indian its emerald green with white balloon tires fender skirts it also has wood grain on the tank chain guard it has a belair badge on the tank and a chevy emblem on the clutch cover its won ten awards over the years i haven't showed it i. A couple of years but the belair concept i came up with 10 years ago.

Nice bike. I got one similar, either a 65 or 66, sitting in my garage. Top part of the handlebars are a little bit different, plus no fenders, and only one speed. Bought it brand new when I was 11. Just sitting in my garage collecting dust. Not sure what I should do with it. Any ideas?😊
@@willg54 Bring it back to life and hang onto it. I clean them up and sell for profit but I won't lie to someone and not tell them what they have and it's true value. Join my bike group on Facebook. Nope. Everything is 100% original. It doesn't have the fender yours had because this one is NOT a Deluxe, clearly. It isn't titled a Deluxe nor did I call it one. Simply type in 1976 Schwinn Stingray, in google and you will see exactly what they should look like.
That rear fender does not look original.I had a Deluxe Sting Ray in the 70’s. The fender went all the way down to the kickstand.

@@johnoldfield9865 Yes. Indeed. I know. It should be black and read SuperGlide. Behind the sprocket trim is also a non original sprocket, a Hurricane Ross Barracuda type design. I'll be changing the crank/sprocket out to shorter arms and smaller sprocket so they chain will get updated too. Being that the forks need repaint I will probably go custom if it sticks around long enough. I just added a reproduction chrome 42" sissybar and rear 20x2.125 Duro whitewall slick tire and front 20x1.75 whitewall Duro brick tread tire. Thanks John.

I received EXACTLy that bike in 1971. Note, the turn signals are not original, but I had those also. I swapped out the stock rear seat bar for a sissy bar with spring/shocks and backrest pad (the turn signals were mounted high on the bar). I also added a speedometer....saved up all summer for it, $5.99 plus tax at Sears. (the casing on my speedometer was black) Note, you may be missing a couple of cable clips which were a narrow diameter to match narrorower tubing of the Rail frame versus a regular bike.
@@MonkeyThrowMonkeyDoo Got this bike from the original owner who had won it in a paper route contest back in the day. I sold it to a guy in the fb vintage bicycle groups. His name is Terry H. He did an absolutely amazing, all out head to toe resto on it. U can find my personal fb bike group by searching "The Bike Game" on fb groups tab. There are updated picks there. It looks completely new again now.

I am restoring a similar one.. been having a hard time finding the rear fender reflector and tires.. I keep finding different sources and cant figure out if these had the balloon tires or the S-7 design.. oddly even if i figure that out, I'll have to see if i can find either for purchase as the ones on it are 80's replacement cheap dry-rotted tires. Mine had a ton of pitting in the rims and fenders, anyone reading this that needs to know, SOS pads with the blue soap and a little water will take the pitting out and make the wheels and fenders look new.. pretty sure yours is in a lot better shape.. trying to get this done to surprise the original owner with her first bike for her birthday..

@@dreamsmatter4986 I bought it as is and I believe it’s been pieced together over the years. The bike frame is a Schwinn Deluxe American made in Sep of 1963. I’m not sure where the bars and seat are from but I believe the bars are from a Stingray.

I'm going to clean the carb, replace spark plug and add fresh gas and oil. Need to have it looked at first as it may be missing some other parts. Got it today. I'll probably be swapping the seat, sissybar and handlebars off it though and sell it then.🤷😅

Long live Mr.Mopar‼️🧡 Dad put his blood, sweat and tears into this car..never quite complete, which none ever are. I am going to do my best to keep this car on the road now. Currently desperately seeking a solid passenger fender. Damage needs to be repaired in the passenger rear quarter panel. This car was painted in 1991 and still sports the Tor Red color on most of the body. Stay tuned for updates. I was still learning when my father passed in February of this year so I too have many many questions and need the help with restoring this dream.
