Dec.'72 Schwinn Bantam in Kool Lemon '73 Color
A new Pickup today, out of Brooklyn, WI. December 1972 Schwinn Bantam, in a '73 "Kool Lemon" color. 1972 they would have only came in Campus Green or Flamboyant Red colors only. This frame must have been leftover surplus from '72 and dressed as a '73. Not uncommon at all for that to happen back then. Paint is original but rough. The chrome will surely clean up some. Stay tuned for the part 2 update, after cleaning. The tires will eventually be replaced to reproductions. Will look good next my yellow '76 Stingray.😎🤘

Here is the latest update on this '62 Schwinn Typhoon 20" build, formerly known as "Patina". I'd like to say its complete...but they never are. I'll be adding or updating some parts in the near future such as the handlebars, crank arms, seatpost and stem with the exception to some more accessories. The powder coat was done by Cory at The Powder Coat Shop in Loves Park, IL. "Super Nova Teal" by ...

Just grabbed this neat build off of fb marketplace today. 1/15/1962 Schwinn 24", unknown model. Frame has been modified to fit the engine which was done back in the early 1970's. Neat seat and sissybar as well as a headlight, speedo, mirror and rear tail light. Not quite sure how to mess with it. May just remove some parts off it and sell it to someone who knows how to get it going. Cool vintag...

'67 Huffy 3-Speed(Girls) 20" Bicycle
มุมมอง 2314 หลายเดือนก่อน
Just got this 1967 Huffy 3 speed girls frame bicycle. Got it in a load of bikes I picked up out of Janesville, WI. I added the stick shifter. Needs a shift cable. I believe this was a thumb shift model. Red Band Supreme front tire. Nothing much for condition but it's a cool piece of history. I'll probably clean it up some and let my kids ride this one.😎

Nice ride I was lucky to find one after looking for almost 2 years. They are a nice rare bike!
Nice
Damn that’s dope
Nice👍 ive got a 61 schwinn tiger 26 inch and a 68 stingray
I am restoring a similar one.. been having a hard time finding the rear fender reflector and tires.. I keep finding different sources and cant figure out if these had the balloon tires or the S-7 design.. oddly even if i figure that out, I'll have to see if i can find either for purchase as the ones on it are 80's replacement cheap dry-rotted tires. Mine had a ton of pitting in the rims and fenders, anyone reading this that needs to know, SOS pads with the blue soap and a little water will take the pitting out and make the wheels and fenders look new.. pretty sure yours is in a lot better shape.. trying to get this done to surprise the original owner with her first bike for her birthday..

I have a 63 Schwinn that looks similar to the one in the middle.
@@Runnin2Live The 2nd and 3rd bike in the background are both one year only '62 Schwinn Typhoon's. Your 63 would probably have painted fenders too. Is it a Typhoon or Stingray or something else? Find me in Facebook groups. Search: "The Bike Game". Feel free to join. The red bike is in another video on TH-cam if u search my other videos.😎🤘
@@dreamsmatter4986 I bought it as is and I believe it’s been pieced together over the years. The bike frame is a Schwinn Deluxe American made in Sep of 1963. I’m not sure where the bars and seat are from but I believe the bars are from a Stingray.
Yo tengo. Una el mismo color y casi el mismo estado son bonitas y un poco dificiles de conseguir saludos
@@marcoaaguilar432 No translation sorry.🤦🤷
Esa bici es bien rara y son caras dificil de conseguir creo que hisieron como 100 la compañianschwinn
I have one in my garage it's not in the best condition though, planning on vinyl wrapping it and putting a 48v brushless motor kit on it
Incredible find, can't believe that you don't have many likes, here's one 👍
@@kenmows4u338 Thanks.
Wow thats a sweet bike really nice
What did they do to it? Whatta u gonna do to it? It's for sale? 👀
I'm going to clean the carb, replace spark plug and add fresh gas and oil. Need to have it looked at first as it may be missing some other parts. Got it today. I'll probably be swapping the seat, sissybar and handlebars off it though and sell it then.🤷😅
Sorry for the loss of your Father, God Bless him. Take your time and enjoy the car, no rush and make it like YOU want it. I'm going to look at a '71 Satellite tomorrow, love these cars, your Father had great taste . All the best with it.
Thank u for the kind words.
Long live Mr.Mopar‼️🧡 Dad put his blood, sweat and tears into this car..never quite complete, which none ever are. I am going to do my best to keep this car on the road now. Currently desperately seeking a solid passenger fender. Damage needs to be repaired in the passenger rear quarter panel. This car was painted in 1991 and still sports the Tor Red color on most of the body. Stay tuned for updates. I was still learning when my father passed in February of this year so I too have many many questions and need the help with restoring this dream.
😳.
Can you build me one
Tenho duas desse modelo .
Badass I got the same frame in a metallic root beer
That's dope
Ajib👍👍👍
Nice Typhoon
Thanks!!
Would you want to sell that frame if you still have it?
I sold it already the same day I had got it. It went to the owner of The Powder Coat Shop in Loves Park or Machesney, IL. Sorry.
@@dreamsmatter4986 no way lol, I actually bought the frame from the shop lol. Sucks it has a crack down the entire head tube but it looks nice asf on my wall 🤣
@@BishopM. Not the same frame. There were zero cracks. Nor would I sell a cracked frame nor would Cory. Nice job trying to connect yourself to it.
@@dreamsmatter4986 lmao I stripped the entire paint down to get a raw clean finish and it’s there lmao. I’ll show you the rework when it’s done 🙃
@@BishopM. Makes sense as I got it out of the trash an hour before I sold it for 100. Curb find. He only bought it for the carbon fork, for his buddy.
NICE!just got my 1969 rapido cryiser running, looks alot like this Badass bike man!
Lucky 7 sprocket
Did you fix the weld spot on it already
Yes I grinded it down and did some filing too. I'm still going to smooth it out some more before getting it painted/powder coated here soon.
Beautiful tho
No mention see
!!!Update. This build is actually currently for sale on local fb marketplace, Beloit, WI. 250$!!!😎
good job 👍👍👍
very nice look

The look of this bicycle is very good and the frame is also strong. You will feel good while traveling on this bicycle. I also want to make a similar bicycle but I am a citizen of India.
very best
**EDIT** On this Rail, the black colored seat was original. I bought a new, J. C. PENNY, Huffy Rail , in 1968, in metallic purple, like the one in the video. The SEAT was a metallic purple vinyl, to match the paint. I currently own, what over a year of internet searching proves, is the finest, purple, Huffy Rail, on the planet. A 1968 in almost new condition.
@@mikeceli You are 100% wrong. The seat is original for a 67. And I sold this bike to a guy in Northern IL and he cleaned and polished every inch of this bike to near mint condition..he is in the vintage bike groups on FB and shows it all the time. Terry is his name. Everything on this bike is original 110%. Do your research next time.
@@dreamsmatter4986 Any supporting evidence that a black seat was factory installed on a metallic purple, Huffy Rail?
@@mikeceli Just research and u will see. I already know the facts. It all depends on where it was sold. As this one here was a Sears badged Huffy Rail 5spd...all original everything down to the tires. If u look close it do more research u will find that they also came with different sprockets. Mine here is the less common "starfish" sprocket. Also 100% original. The purple seats also came in the rails, yes. Again all depending on which store it was sold at. There are many different badges possible. I'm not trying.to come.off rude at all just do your research..this bike here is all original. Join some fb bike groups.. My group on fb is called The Bike Game. Can show u more proof there.😎
@@mikeceli An easy way for u to see supporting evidence is for u to go to Google images and type in "Sears badged Huffy the rail bicycle" u will find this seat to original and also learn something new today.
@@dreamsmatter4986 I see that now. learned something new today. Thanks.
Was there any modification necessary to go from 26×4 down to 26×3?
None at all. I could have also stretch a standard 26x2.125 tire over the rim for a super low profile tire look.
Let me know if one day you sell this one i will buy it 👍
I sold it twice got it back a third time and sold it again last winter. It's on display now in a guys house, unfortunately. Sure do miss this one. Did u watch the final videos of it when it was done. Check my videos for the red one called Diablo. The lowrider.😈
I you sell it sold it on ebay I will buy it
The seat was the real magic with those bikes, I was the only kid that could ride up the boat ramp while seated. Today's kids bikes are just plain dumb, with a tiny seat right over the pedals.
Ilo tengo dos de esas
You don't have any FORKS? OF THAT YEAR
Very cool build project
It's been posted on fb marketplace for a week at $125 not a single person has messaged on it. Crazy.
Came out nice but now you have to cut the forks take 2 inches off
Oh ok 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽came out awesome brother
I sold the one that I converted over to Electric and I just recently bought another one two nights ago didn’t get it yet but I bought it from Walmart 699. Can’t beat that price this time I’m not gonna turn into electric. I love it just the way it is might change the tires. Hey where is your part two video? I want to see what you did to the bike???🤔🤔🤔
