I have a Nokta simplex plus that I have been using the paste 2+ years but I want to upgrade and I had my eye on this Minelab X-Terra Elite. So how do you like this Machine ???

Love my eTrac, but the display SUCKS! Yes I hunt mostly my sound, but for the cost of the detector, the display is shameful!

This an awsome detector even the gold monster 1000 can't quit keep up it to is a VLF but this ureka gold got it beat not by a whole lot but it is stronger in the 6.4 mode for deeper bigger gold that old dinosaur with were first made I belive 1998 to 2017 even in 2024 she is one bad mama jama wow I love my ureka gold I got lucky found this for 200 bones I see them for $600 / $700 they put serious future components inside that mother board box on the unit I will hold on to mine for many more years she is a small and med size and a few bigger nugget finding machine

And a VERY wobbly stem. The part just above the control box flexes if you are tall. I filled mine with chopped glass fibre and resin but the damned thing still flexes. Terrible design. I'm looking into getting the handle 3D scanned and a Titanium one machined.

Even the newest detectors that are over hyped don’t have as many features that etrac has

Hi I have a minelab etrac abd it beep anywhere I try to change the coil. Do reset. Change the batterry. Result 0 always beep anywhere Can you help pls

Gary, Do you have the other copy for consumers? I think this is the one I used to train dealers with that I included a couple of things that were not quite right to see if they caught them after the classroom sessions. These were the greatest training tools for the Eureka. I wish we had done more of these for the rest of the gold line and other detectors. This is the one that I talked about sensitivity as power into the ground as in TX, not RX. I liked running this one for training after the classroom and me pounding it into their heads that it does nothing for into just out of. I think we did 2 takes on this and 2 takes on discrim. One for training and the other for the public.

Will you be filming I Norway? I like the Hoard Hunters videos, but I find them on the "Our History" TH-cam channel.

I’m into getting rich lol because I’m poor. Here’s a few negatives about my Deus 2 you might want to cover. 1 the coil charge clip it’s rubbish. 2 the fact the control box is designed so it can fall off. 3 the headphones are uncomfortable. 4 updates should be used now and then to improve it not to build it after its been released. 5 there is still no update that all users agree on being a good update. 6 the EMI shielding is poor 7 is that Gary Blackwell has been doing tutorials constantly on it since day 1 so that issue only really refers to your goals but having said that at least you can go watch his if you need any tips yourself lol. It’s like the machine was designed by two employees. One a genius and one an idiot. How could they carry over the charge clip, headphones and control box mount from the Deus 1 and not know they needed radically improving ? I do like it but that one idiot employee has a lot to answer for 😊
