New viewer to the channel and now subscriber - great video - looks an amazing ride out - will have to try and check this one out!
Thank for viewing and subscribing to my channel
Looks awesome 👍
it is a classic dales ride.
Nice rides in Bulgaria. You should definitely try other trails in Bulgaria. I recommend Sliven trails :)
where are the sliver trails?
@@MTBCY the town is called Sliven. Try to search in TH-cam as a prefix "Sliven mtb" and after that add Kutelka, Buchvata, Kapitanska, and Molova gora
thank you
Looks awesome. Please correct me if I'm wrong but am I right in thinking that you organise mountain biking holidays to Bulgaria?
Hi Simon, yes I organise it in the uk for a company in bulgaria called Out the park the are English lads who have set up guided rides out there in summer and teaching skiing in winter.
@MTBCY fantastic. Is it just for advanced riders though? Because at best I would only consider myself to be intermediate.
@@sforster69 they cater for all, they also run separate ebike rides, drop me a whata app message of your interested, if you have a group of mates I need 6 for it to run. my munber is 07958130712

Have you got a GPX link please 🙏
@@elsugundochristie3959 I will send you one later on today, just coaching at the moment, I will also be adding to my 2025 guided ride programme soon.
@ thanks 🙏 appreciated
@elsugundochristie3959 would you be interested in our guided rides at all, I'm putting to packages together for 2025.
Well played Ian, need to get back on 2 wheels. The question is trail bike or light weight emtb. Hmm
Great route and some fantastic scenery. Unfortunately the background music is very intrusive which meant it was difficult to hear you talking. Personally I'd prefer just the sound of tyres on gravel.
@simoncole7416 hi, thank you music wanst that loud when I edited and rendered it.
I only live in Thirsk and I can't believe that I didn't know about this ride. Definitely gonna do it 👍
A gpx of the ride would be nice
@@tuxtoo1 I will be doing at as a guided ride soon if you wish
Did this route year or so ago fantastic ride 👌started and fin from Hutton rudby
Great video. Do you have a gpx file of the route ?
What route did you take, is the gps available, thanks.
Second this. Is it on komoot ?
Great video, is it doable on a cyclocross bike ? Is there a map of this route anywhere 👍
I don't see why it can't be done on a cyclocross nothing technical in it.
And the route goes where?
How do u mean we're does it go?
Cool ride buddy, way cool ride, not damp enough for my tastes mind, but cool none the less.
Do you have the route for this ride?

@@MTBCY excellent, Thankyou 👍🏼
@djc226 If you want a guided ride at anytime just let me as that is what my job is guiding.
Looks like a great route!!
Good ride that dude. I've done a slight variation on it. When you get to the road I turn left and down to Halton Gill then right and then about a mile or so down the road. Right again and up and.ong, to meet the same road just below fountains fell and then down the bridleway further along bringing you out at helwith Bridge. It's a shorter descent but faster. It's lovely anywhere in the dales tbh. Cheers for the video buddy
Looks like a good ride that Iain! [Jon].
You took Lesley and I on that last year, awesome ride!
I did, and it is one of my favourite
Great ride!
That's a rocky one compared to the rest Iain!
It is probably one of favorite trails there
Looks a belting ride Iain! 👍
Good video Iain. Interesting version, I will try this one soon.
Thank u Mark, will uploading the video for the original version soon, just finishing off my video for Buckden to Bainbridge.
You do like a climb sir! 😉
I do try
Nice little vid mate
thank you, I've just subscribed to ur channel
You legend 🤙🏻
That looks like a great ride. My friend has a farm just up the main street of Grassington, I could use there as a base to start.
Sounds like a good idea
heaven
nice progress! Was that all over the course of a day?
3 hours
Go on dad
Just done some of the rosedale railway the other week got some cracking footage
Did u go all the way over to the Yorkshire Cycle Hub
@@MTBCY no, I started & finished at Hutton le hole
Those look like some nice lines, is it accessible outside of a race?
Unfortunately not the runs are on private land
I would think im cool and chuck myself off the rocks
Great Ride can You add komoot link plz or Gpx file
I will send u a gpx file when I get back after a weekend of guiding
Thanks man Legend
I do try
Well done lads
How long is this loop both in terms of time and distance please? Just subscribed to your channel, so forgive me if this is on here somewhere, is there a route map to show beginning of trail, would like to come up and try that one, thanks Chris
Hi Chris, thank you for subscribing to my channel, it is around the 12-15 mile depending if you use the official Pennine Bridleway route or not and takes around 3 hrs depending on ur Speed n fitness. I will post a gpx file up for you.
You do like a good climb!! 😳
Aw was hoping to see some face plants in the snow 😜 Good vid. Proper graft
Sorry for not adding them in, was a good ride though
Rather picturesque old chap! 🤟
Oi less of the old chap, yes it was very picturesque, the Settle loop always is no matter what the weather, there will be another settle vid soon done last week.
The mud, seems unfair with so much snow!
Yep the mud was made it even harder.
Looks like bloody hard work! Like the music.
Thank u John, it was hard going and it's always hard to fing fitting music. There will be another settle video done the week before.
@@MTBCY I'm afraid I would need my emtb to do that, even if I could brave the snow! Still use the manual whenever I can though. Need to get fitter and lose 1 to 1.5 stone and might do better. With the big seven 0 coming up in a year I don't want to 'give in'!
I was mulling over doing this route as per Trailforks/AllTrails gpx. They suggest anti-clockwise, would you agree. Probably park in St Ives and head off from there.
I do it both ways but I tend to do it clockwise now as I've done it for so long anti clockwise.
When u thinking of doing it
@@MTBCY when I get my mojo back! It looks like a route that suffers a bit with mud so probably when things dry up a bit.
Let me know and I'll take u round
Looked a good pace Iain for the conditions. Always enjoy doing the Bingley Bash, everyone I have ridden it with a slightly different take on it, whether it be clockwise or anti-clockwise, still there were bits of your version I didn't recognise 😂, I will try and follow you round on a milder day 🥶🥶
Hi Mark, glad u enjoyed the vid and yes there are now so many variations of it its been around for a long time.
Love to do that with you Iain, only when it's at 20° warmer! 😂
Some sweet trails there and guys clock some miles when your out 👏 your made of tough stuff 💪
Thank you, as a MTB guide I do travel a lot and like to show people around as well as racking up the miles
Sloppy old day but looks like you made the best of it brother 👌
Hi bud, yep was a very mixed day, set off no rain then we got to gorple and we had rain + head winds all the way back.
@@MTBCY Been to Tenerife and did a 2500 metre decent….quite tame terrain BUT….the sun was shining and temperatures roasting! What a treat but back to reality on next ride out! 😂
@@OrdinaryDudesRideMTB luck u sir, I cant wait to get back to Portugal
Love the video. How do you find your routes, a lot people have said Koomot is good. If I could find some tracks like this I would buy a MTB instead of gravel bike.
I guide for a living and use os maps to plot my routes using the bridleway netwoks
Fab video. Looks hard work in those conditions, especially the mud grease step climb bit! Might try this route, can you suggest a good place to park to start the ride, the train station maybe? (im not local lol)
Hi Phil, give me a shout n I'll take u round it
@@MTBCY amazing 🤩 that would be awesome. Will get in touch in a few weeks when the weather gets better 😉 thanks so much ☺️
We're are u from Phil?
@@MTBCY Near Rochdale, about 50mins down the m62 :)) Also willing to return the favour and show you a local loop round my area too :)

Great job Iain
