Takes me back to a good time in my life… retired from my Marine Corps...got married, had my first son. I use to sing this entire album to him as I rocked him to sleep . He’s 18 now. Makes me warm.

I bought In Between Dreams sometime back in the 2000s just because of the album art. I had no idea who Jack Johnson was, I just loved the brain-tree art. After listening to it for a year or two, and it becoming one of my favourite CDs, I went back to buy Bushfire Fairytales ans On and On ... I loooved those albums. The year I moved 2000km to the seaside, JJ released "To The Sea" ... Something magical aboit Jack Johnson's music. It's always been the exact music at the time I needed it (especially as someone who mainly listens to hard punk and hard drum and bass, but still has a soft side for softer music)

Being in A pub, house or restaurant miles away from home and hearing this voice come on? Similar to seeing a leech on me, but happier! OMG, omg, !!!! Jumps up and down……OMG!!!!!! But happy. 😝 I hate leeches.

Skateboarding all day, playing this album on heavy rotation on our crapy car stereo. Ice cold beers and ice tea from the icebox. Snacks and sweets. Sunrise setting over the skatepark. Having a shower and beer at the same time. Going out to a party. Always Drinking, sometimes kissing. Waking up in a couch.

Been a fan for over 20 years! My wife and I saw him last month for our 29th anniversary and Jack said it was 29 years since he got together with his wife! This is still my favorite JJ album.
