I get gerd too it’s awful! I ferment my own cabbage with vinegar, pink salt, and fresh lime juice, 6 limes for 1 head of cabbage, it’s delicious and helps with my gerd. Also try black seed oil, it’s a miracle for everything

Hey! I'd like to suggest you start slowly incorporating fermented foods with probiotics. That helped me tremendously with this issue :)

Thank you for sharing this and I am happy you are feeling better. When I was a teacher I suffered with that often. What may help as you move on, is to have something like kefir yogurt or drink before eating to coat and soothe your digestion. Also, bring back your regular foods one at a time, so you can tell if they affect you. Be well. And to your husband... good job!
