Flying Training with the Young Owls

Our young owlets are growing up fast and definitely finding their wings as they enjoy flying training with the keepers.
Baby Barn Owl Progress

We’re happy to announce the names of these pair of cheeky youngsters. The white coloured barn owl is called Dawn while the melanistic is named Dusk, They’re growing up incredibly fast, and some time in the near future you may even see them free flying in a display. 🦉 Why not visit and meet them at the afternoon owl talk.

We have had a bit of a baby boom at the Sanctuary with an emu, 5 weasels and a young wallaby all making an appearance over the last month. Enjoy meeting them in this short video.

I met Teddy the other day , Friday the 21st of June, well I was outside and she was sleeping on the logs , checking me out . Even though she was asleep and behind a glass I was very content in watching her sleep , I fell in love with her and my heart melted when I read about her life story, bless her I have a fascination with foxes as I see them in work as I’m a mobile security guard and often see them in the areas I cover .
Glad to hear that you had a good meeting with Teddy, we all think she is adorable
Had a Close up meeting yesterday with Viktor and Lola, absolutely blown away by they're gentleness and friendliness it was worth every penny, and will do it again very soon, Lola is completely unfazed, and will go straight up on your shoulder, the whole day out at this Sanctuary was amazing,and is a real gem in the centre of Cornwall
