2022 WI Archery - King I

Here's one of the ones we're after. Too bad we weren't up there on this day to actually see him in shooting light. Good to know he's still around.
2022 WI Archery - Doe with Fawn
มุมมอง 502 ปีที่แล้ว
Just a good sized doe with her fawn. Almost looks like she gets spooked a little by looking up and seeing the treestand, however, no one was home at the time.

2021 November 7 archery sit

November 7, one of my favorite days to sit on stand in the archery woods. After seeing a decent buck dog a doe earlier, this little guy came through as a straggler checking things out.
2020 Hen Pheasant - Close while picking corn
มุมมอง 474 ปีที่แล้ว
We were just picking corn and I saw this little gal running through the corn so I hopped off the tractor while picking to film her a bit. Not sure she knew what to think of me as she kept getting closer (so close as to walk right through my shadow) before walking off. Just cool to see.
2020 Oliver 1550 and IH 1 Row picker picking corn (or what's left)
มุมมอง 1474 ปีที่แล้ว
2020 Deer season came to a close and we decided to pick what was left of our corn field. As you can see, not a lot of corn flying into the wagon as the deer had decimated the field. I guess you could say we were chopping the stalks instead? Either way, got a chance to drive the tractor and do some field work, and it just showed that all the equipment was working as it should too.

Turn that ground!!!!!!!!
That ain't a deer.

Old machinery is cool.
Stop and clean off the plow. It will do a better job and use less fuel. Also a bit of front weight will stabilize the steering.
Hate it when you forget to pull the elevator shut off rope on the turns.
promosm
1 acre a year at that rate 😆
By plowing from the outside toward the middle you don’t have a ditch going around your field
Methinks using the clutch pedal for a foot rest is a very bad idea.
We had the same knight wagon only with higher sides. Used it for ear corn and silage.
I remember when I was younger having at 8:00 and Ford with a two row cultivator in first year idling in a 40 acre field, took forever
Lovely bit of kit great video 👍🇬🇧
what the kid doing in the back? practicing his football catch??
Maybe they won't shell so bad if he catches them?
Make my tent right next to that
Make my foiled up pork roast right next to that🤗
Sorry ,no negative comments , everyone is a critic, old tractor doing a good job.
Don't ride the clutch! !
Next time he may want to strike the first plow down the center of the field first, then throw the furrows toward the middle, not the outside.
Nice
We love watching old school farming... Thank you for sharing your video...
THAT'S AWESOME ONE ROW AT A TIME... THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR VIDEO...
People have been and always will be facinated by FIRE.
Has that Ford "Relish" sound!!!!
I'm not sure why this was in my recommendations 6 and 1/2 years later but I enjoyed it. It's good to finally see someone on TH-cam that has their plows set up correctly (except for the rear coulter, which I understand from another comment has been corrected). Most of the other videos have them set up incorrectly, or they are plowing too deeply or too shallow, or at the wrong ground speed, or wrong gear, etc. I know it seems like a small thing to most people, but I was born on, raised on, and still work the farm (and still have our 8n) and it just bugs me.
Why do so many paint 9N and 2N Ford tractors incorrect colors?
They were grey.... Wonder that myself
I did thet today lol
I’m going gator parasailing
Neither rain nor sleet nor snow will stop that 9N Ford from roller over that field 🚜
O Christmas tree O Christmas tree......
Good day Boy that was a nice video. Our neighbour had 55, then bought Cockshutt 550 Thanks
Fuck this boring ass nigga cuz, nigga tryna be entertained fat boy
hi just bought 9n tractor do u. know where to buy attachments from
The nice thing about these old Ford's is that you have a lot of options. You can buy new implements form Tractor supply, or look around for some of the originals. Hope this helps.
I just bought a 9N. What size disk do I need for this model tractor ? Thanks, Timmie
Many factors play into what the tractor can pull, soil type (clay, sandy, etc.), how deep or aggressive you want to be while tilling, if the ground's been tilled before, 3pt. vs. pull behind...You should be safe with a 4-5 foot disk behind a 9N. The one in the video is a 5 foot being pulled through fairly sandy, soft soil after years of tilling the same fields.
Great ! That’s what I’m looking for !!!
good to see a man not afraid of the weather 👍
How deep is the plow suppose to go. I just got one and couldnt see my plow. I may be going to deep then. It was the the first time the soil was plowed.
Deep enough to roll the furrow over nicely. Can't see the plow = too deep
Fenmancan Thanks. I well try it again this week.
That thing looks wicked fast for what it is! You must have a great mechanic
Nice. You do need to clean your rear coulter however.
After plugging it 2 - 3 times, we noticed that it was put on wrong. We adjusted it and plowed the rest of the field without it plugging again.
Plowing real nice
Looks awesome. Can you make a timelapse video please?
