I do change frequency, but you do reach apoint where you've been over in one particular frequency and you want to use the one the pointer and detector doesn't like👍I'm kind of use to it now but I think a pointer upgrade is due.I only have the one so a back up won't hurt...🤣👍

@@headinahole7433 Does the ORX have frequency shift option? Where you don’t have to change the entire frequency, but you can shift it slightly to stop the Interference.

It's supposed to, I say supposed because it's not obvious, there's no selection for it.I personally think they mean offset by the program you use, ie coin deep 7 khz but you change to 17khz for instance..coin fast does not interfear to much with the pointer, however coin deep does.. Im no expert had ORX about 3 to 4 months and this I learnt by try and error and I may be wrong🤣🙈 I watch a guy called Gary Blackwell he seems to be a guru on Deus n ORX seems a nice chap to.Maybe I'll message and ask that question 👍

@@headinahole7433 it’s a completely different setting on the dues. It’s called frequency shift. It allows you to make fractional adjustments to frequency without having to change from 7khz to 17khz. Makes for much less noise in the headphones while the pinpointer is turned on!

Well done, amazing surface find, I found a Victorian mourning brooch very similar but oval with someone’s lock of hair in the back and a diamond in the front middle, that I had to dig out from underneath a tree root!!! Awesome stuff!!

@@headinahole7433 Happy New Year to you, keep safe. I have a Deus with the x35 coil and it's brilliant, I found the best way to learn my machine was to use it without the remote and just learn the good signals with your ears.

Yes I do use the sounds and id to just help make a decision...I do want the deus though but not till I learn this machine..Only been detecting since the back end of summer...first day hooked 🙈.. If I am right I should only need a Deus remote and headphones?

@@headinahole7433 I started with the Deus lite which was headphones and coil but no remote. The headphones have all the programs and adjustments built in. I also only started detecting last summer.

To my understanding the headphones have only have some features not all..although there has been an update recently..Check th xp skill school with Gary Blackwell..very informative 👍
