Other teachers tell you what to do, but they don't tell you why you are doing it. You are very down to earth and visually friendly. Your voice is clear and concise. Your humility is pleasant.

You should say at the outset that this tech is not free, nor is it cheap for use in any kind of products. Definitely worth knowing for those considering spending considerable time learning how it works.

My main use case for := is the regex's. if (m := re.search(r"hello (\w+)",text): etc whereas before you had to use the 'pocket' hack of defining a simple class class Pocket(): def __init__(self): self.x = None def __call__(self,x): self.x = x return x p = Pocket() and then if p(re.search(r"hello (\w+)",text): m = p.x There are a few use cases where it does lead to more elegant code. And avoids the if( x = 3 ) problem of C. Alas there was, if I recall, some quasi-religious opposition to it by some.

why does it says 13 hours but youtube is showing just 10 hours of ocurse>?

Great course thus far. One thing I'd love to see is a .py file for each lesson that consists of just the comments for the code for the lesson. This course is a great launching point for learning python. But after watching the "teaching" part of the lesson, it would be helpful to just load up the objectives for the code rather than freezing the video and typing the comments in manually before digging into the coding aspect. (It would, I think also encourage learners to actually try it themselves first.) If you already have that somewhere, my apologies, but I haven't seen it.
