BLACK MYTH: WUKONG | Red Loong

This game has been so enjoyable. It took a little while to get to grips with the combat, but it feels great when it clicks. The visuals are some of the best I have seen on PS5. This encounter was on a new game. I have a game at the end of NG and the Platinum Trophy in the bag. Hoping for some DLC.

@@RobertStankiewicz-n6i Thank you for watching. Any tips would be appreciated as I’m not really familiar with the controls yet.
Wish I knew this but you should activate this boss then run to the other and they fight each other sit back and then when this one wins you then fight this guy with half of his health gone
Looks good, how are you finding it?
The game has been good so far. The combo-style combat is taking a bit of getting used to for me though. Quite a challenging game I'm finding.
EQ?
I do not remember the settings as it was recorded around 7 years ago. I didn't use any pedals or external FX. I still have this amp and it would be difficult to get an unusable sound out of it. My best guess would be that I just left the tone controls at 12 o'clock here.
sick bass
Nice little bop.
Nicely done! I'm gonna wait for it to go on sale.
Sonja said she would buy it for me so I didn't want to be rude and refuse her generous offer. The game is much better than I thought it would be. The combat feels good, I can't wait to get to grips with it a little better. The game feels a lot more forgiving than Sekiro and Lies of P to me. I'm trying Dragon's Dogma 1 again and although the game does have a certain charm to it, I'm finding a lot of my time is spent in the menu, inventory and looking at the map so I'm not too sure how far I'll get with it this time.
Nice
Ecxellent ❤

Nice!!! Took your time. Well done.
hooly shit, this is good
Nice video pal, what did you make of the game, how does it stack up to Dark Souls, Bloodborne or Elden Ring?
I really like Lies of P but the first playthrough felt frustratingly difficult for me. I've done three plays of it now and I think that will be it. The game is really well made I would say and is up there with the FromSoft titles in the way of a challenge.
How did you sync them to each other? I've got an edge and an rd9 and am having trouble just syncing the tempos.
Hello there. To sync these together here I used the clock from Ableton Live via USB.
Been meaning to get this, is it good? also have you streamed on yt before? might try it this week.
Hey buddy, I have been wondering what you are playing recently. I took a look at your videos last night but saw that you hadn't uploaded for a while. I’m enjoying Robocop, it plays like an early 2000s kind of shooter, there is nothing new here but the Robocop vibe is cool. TH-cam streaming has worked fine for me when I have tried it.
Well played
Thank you. The second phase of this fight is quite brutal.
I like this. prison sounding tune
Ha ha, you picked up on the vibe well.
Melting hot!🔥🥵
Hello, are you making these songs by yourself?
Hello. Yes, it is just me with my computer, some Behringer synths and drum machines. Thanks for listening.
Great job!! Keep up with this, wish you the best in the future @@uksoulsaver
Really nice and different. Nice production is well. Is it on band camp. I am DJing next week if u send us a copy of band camp it I will test it out I need some vocal stuff to play
Thanks. I’ve not put this on BandCamp, I’ll Dropbox it to you.
@@uksoulsaver I ain't DJing now it has fallen through but I would of played it u can drop box it. I will use it it in a mix some time
Damn you're flying ahead of me, I haven't had a chance to play recently, you seem to be having a good time
I enjoyed AC more than I expected but I found it to be a bit of a slog to be honest. I can't see myself playing another AC game any time soon. I kind of felt obliged to play this game being a FromSoft fanboy. The game is now finished, deleted and unlikely to see the light of day again for me. I do have a nice physical copy with a poster and some postcards. Good luck with your journey.
Did you get the full game or is this the demo? Also how do you get the title card swipe at the end?
I bought the full game and I’m really enjoying it. All my videos are just edited using the PSShare app on the PS5. The app has loads of different transitions. After the fight with the dude, I placed a screenshot of the Lies of P title screen and used one of the transitions.
Another boss that filtered many, nicely done UKG
Quite tough this one. Had to be super aggressive here to have any chance of victory. I feel like I'm on the cusp of being filtered. I really enjoyed the first hour of Lies of P that I played the other day and if I get sucked into that game it's going to be difficult for me to keep up with Armored Core.
Nicely done, this boss filtered a lot of players
Cheers. I've been hearing quite a lot about this boss. It must be quite heart breaking to spend £60 and feel so overwhelmed this early in the game.
nice track ukg, how do you generate the vocals?
Thanks. The vocal here is from a production website that I subscribe to. The vocalist is female but I pitched her voice down to fit the key of the music I had written and I think she now sounds a little like Dave Gilmour of Pink Floyd.
gg! did you like the game overall?
Yes I enjoyed the game. I found the maps to be a little confusing but I did kind of just rush through the game. I didn't follow the story at all or bother with how the character builds work so I guess I missed out on a lot of what is on offer. The game deserves more attention than I gave it to be fair but on the other hand pointing a weapon and shooting is pretty much the game and I'm a little reluctant to spend time on convoluted, esoteric stories and item descriptions when it just comes down to shooting at stuff.
Nice, are you enjoying this game?
Yes, I'm enjoying this so far. I played the first Remnant game also. I was left with an itch to shoot things after playing RE4. I have been wondering if you are to try Dead Space after RE4? The FF game I was playing is boring me to tears, the gameplay is just not interesting and I'm not really one for the over the top fantasy stuff.
@@uksoulsaver finally finished RE4 really enjoyed it, not sure what I'm going to play now
Is that u singing. Quite different style from u. Man of many music stules 👍
This is not me singing here. The vocal is from a female session artist who publishes her work on Loopcloud.
@@uksoulsaver I was joking on the singing. But cool u get access to vocals and that
@@Rex-dk1rx I didn’t know if you meant had I used AI to change my voice. That is something I want to try at some point. It is almost impossible to recognise a joke these days as the world is just completely absurd. We are living through MGS2, reality and fiction are too difficult to distinguish these days 👀
Is the title supposed to be a D&A sequence?
I was being a bit lazy here. I couldn't be arsed to think of a title so I used morse code to spell out "Untitled." I suppose it's a little creative I guess :)
How is the full game? the demo didn't swing me towards buying.
I'm really enjoying it so far. I once again purchased a physical copy and the game included six sew on faction patches. So if the game turns out to be a bit naff, at least I can still look hipster with my patches. :)
amazing how this game is still active after all this time, gg
gg! How did you find the game?
I enjoyed this game. Mindless zombie slaying for the most part. The combat is solid and overall the game is pretty well made. The visuals and animations are good and the locations are interesting. The vibe borders on kind of slap stick comedy at times. I’m hoping to continue my RE4 stream on Friday all being well.
Amazing music 😊
Thank you.
Reminds of Alter Ego techno stuff what dave clarke would play
Yeah. It has an industrial style going on. It could do with some vocals through a megaphone! I patched a self generating thing on the Crave, I just left it running and recorded it for about 5 mins. I took a few parts from the recording and used them with a 909 kit. Very simple, but I'm quite impressed with the result considering not much was done. I could imagine Dave Clarke playing it messing peoples minds at 4am.
Nice fight, always enjoyed the Krauser fight, gg!
The game is excellent. I would highly recommend giving it a go.
Weeeeeeeee!
“Weeeee” was so close to being the title of this video. I somehow resisted. The game has been fantastic. I’m at the final stages now. Salazar is no more, the President’s daughter has been rescued and I’m on my way to the mountains to make our getaway.
Nice, any plans of streaming some RE 4?
I do kind of have half of a plan to the extent that I've been moving some stuff around in here to try and get a consistent internet connection. I may give it a try tomorrow evening. I'm going back to physical media as much as I can these days and the game came a day early from Amazon. It takes me back to the PS3 days when I would order from Game and would often get them delivered two or even three days early. I've never been too keen on the whole digital/streaming model. Sure, it is convenient at times but I like to own something and feel happy about it! I have £££s of digital games on the PS4 that I will never play again and can do nothing with. I sold most of my physical PS3 games when the PS4 came out. I obviously didn't get much for them but at least I had the option to either keep them (even if just to look at and remember the golden years....) or sell them.
GG! How did you find the remake?
I think they did a really good job of it. Dead Space has always been a challenging game as I remember and I kind of had to get back into the groove of it. The game glitched out a couple of times for me. One time I was stuck in a lift and then right at the end after fighting this boss on a run, the game did not go into the final sequence when it grabs you to make the final killing blow so I was just stood there. I think I'll put the glitches down to disc loading errors perhaps. There seemed to be a few instances when the frames dropped considerably in a couple of areas too but general game play was not affected. I'm not too sure I will be playing it again anytime soon compared to the Callisto Protocol that I have completed five times, so I'm not too sure how you would interpret that. Callisto was fun and a reasonable challenge, Dead Space, very intense, sometimes a little too intense for me but overall very well done. I've just tried the Resi 4 demo, it looks promising.
Where are the vocals from?
My goal has been to write tunes with vocals for quite some time. I don't know any singers so I subscribed to a production website that has royalty free vocals that can be used. I didn't really want to use off the shelf vocals and I've been putting it off for a while but I feel I've kind of learned quite a lot with the music production side of things over the past twelve months and the inclusion of vocals was needed to continue to make some kind of progress. I prefer the sound of vocals with the characteristics that I have become familiar with describing as "female vocals", although gender is not specifically important I guess these days.....! :)
I love 808 cowbells and arpeggios! Well done
Thanks for listening. The 808 is a nice machine, I have the Behringer Clone (RD-8) and used it for this track. The 808 is such a simple yet inspiring drum machine to use.
What can be said after this beauty... Nothing.
Thank you, very kind.
gg!
gg Elden Lord! I didn't like how you had to fight Radagon first with no break, it made his fight a chore.
Yes I agree. The fight against Radagon is pretty epic but when you know that you have to fight this thing straight after takes a lot away from the experience. It would have worked much better being two separate fights.
gg!
I think I was a hinderance to the guy who helped me ! :) There is no way I have the reflexes or dedication to learn this fight solo.
Was there zero-g sections in the original? also there's an ancient videogame called asteroids, they should have put it in as an easter egg.
I think the zero-g was more like linear kind of jumping sections in the original. I don't think you had boots with thrusters on until the second game. The inclusion of an Asteroids arcade cabinet would have been cool. 1979 Asteroids was released! You may remember I played quite a lot of Super Stardust on PS3, a game by the developers Housemarque who also did Returnal and Zombie Nation. Super Stardust is like a modern Asteroids, very good fun.
gg!
It’s kind of game breaking if you use this thing.
How's the remake so far?
It is great. I had forgotten just how intense this game is. Constantly on the verge of death. Searching for a moment of respite that never seems to appear. It’s going to take a lot for me to get through this game. It feels like games on the whole have been getting easier to manage over recent times. This remake is a welcomed reminder of how to create a challenge.
He'll never get that satellite dish installed now, nicely done & gg
I had pretty much given up on this dude for they day and wasn't expecting a victory here as I was so frustrated. I have no idea how I survived the first few minutes of this fight. I know hitting his eye in phase two stuns him but I've only been able to do it once, plus messing around with switching weapons and buffs during battle does not feel consistent to me. Sometimes the swaps are queued up and work, other times you expect them to have worked and don't check and you end up doing something completely different to what you intended. He can take his dish and stuff it up Maliketh's blind side, I'm not looking forward to that battle either.
Nice vocal work especially in the mix vocals nice and clear
Thanks. I've not done much with vocals yet. It is very easy for them to get drowned out. Lots of ducking on the other channels to make room for them was the approach I took here. I'm surprised the vocal sample sounds ok because I recorded it as video from a website then converted the video to audio and finally processed it in Live. I'm toying with the idea of subscribing to Splice again for vocal samples. I've spent the last year doing mostly vocal-less tunes but most of my tunes are written with the idea of having some kind of vocal in there.
