I can hear the box more in the B&W sounds. The yamahas disappear and the mid range come forward... Yamaha hands down.

Difficult to say, both amps are a tad finicky with speakers, seems the Yamaha cooler tone suits the elac better, what I can say is the hotel is far better than that example, it has a wide sound stage ..

I have 705S with Focal centers powered by Marantz. Happy with the result.

Préférence pour les Bowers malgré les aigus un peu trop présent, le médium est plus clair et ouvert. Les Elac sonnent un peut comme un canard dans le médium, les aigus sont plus doux pour les longues séance d'écoute. Je préfère les KEF R3 présentées dans la vidéo précédente.

Wow! These videos are great. I just watched this six part series and they really showed a difference. I was really struck by how the difference didn't seem as great going from the B&W into the Yamaha is it did going from the Yamaha to the B&W. As in, what the Yamaha added for me was much more dramatic when it was taken away. Hope that makes sense. Anyway, very cool! Subscribed and am looking forward to watching more.

値段どの位なのかなぁ？全くキャラの違う音のスピーカーだね。良くデジタルよりアナログの方が音が良いとか真空管アンプの方が、、とかあるけど。全く次元が違う音の差だよねー、やはりオーディオで1番音が変わるのは出口のスピーカーだと思う(^^)

thank you for the comparison. going from yamaha to bowers really makes the bowers sound like it's missing all the midrange! but i like both and would probably be happy with either.

Just from the youtube video the r3 meta is more bright more annoying on the trebble and reference r1 is more accurate. But in terms of voice i seem to prefer the r3 meta.
