from where to get the grafted Khirsapat plant ?
There is variety Kalappadi from Kerala looks which is having good keeping quality, tss of 26-27, high yielding, regular bearing habit. There are many hybrid varieties are also available. These foreign varieties can't match with Indian mangoes. Only for ornamental purpose because of attractive colour.
Kalapadi is not a kerala variety
@@arun___krishnanBut it's cultivated mainly in Kerala only than any other state in South India. ( Coastal Karnataka and Bordering areas of Tamilnadu). In Kerala all nurseries are selling this variety, other states it's very difficult to get plants.
@@manjunath322 its karnataka variety. I think mostly kerala nurseries are selling too much plants than other states. And also Kalapady is showing heavy bearing in alternative years.
Already planted few days ago. So I am feeling so happy now.
Only few nurseries are selling Khirshapat variety remaining nurseries are selling Himsagar variety. Nam Doc Mai 4 is called 2 times Himsagar by some nurseries. Similarly there is a difference between Jardalu mango and Jarda mango from Bhagalpur..
