I'm still beating myself up for selling my 60s Marvel comics collection which included the first appearance of Galactus and the Silver Surfer in Fantastic Four. This track is still one of my favourites of all time. Still have my vinyl copy bought in 1970.

Absolutely! It does somewhat recall White Light/White Heat-era Velvet Underground, but it clearly leans towards what bands like the Stranglers, Public Image Ltd, Siouxsie And The Banshees, Killing Joke or Joy Division would do 9-10 years later!

CAN hat als deutsche Band zwar niemals in ihrer Muttersprache gesungen, dafür aber möglicherweise hier zum erstenmal ein deutsches Vaterthema angedeutet, wenn auch lyrisch stark verklausuliert, nämlich Kriegstraumata und das daraus resultierende Schweigen der Väter - father cannot yell.

I have 8th May in my diary. It's Graham Bond day. The day he took his own life at Finsbury Park 1974 after his head was fucked up with drugs, the occult and Aleister Crowley, who was almost certainly not his Dad. We were robbed when he left this Earth.
I'm sure that one of his biggest (if not the biggest one of his) problems was that he had an "addictive personality" which went undiagnosed -- or at least under-diagnosed -- for far too long. And then, it became too late.

I had this LP back in the late 60s, it said graham played every instrament but the drums!!
That's why him and Ginger were great together, well that and dope.
