El Dipstick® de carreteras, un equipo catalogado de Clase 1 por el Banco Mundial, mide el Indice de Regularidad Internacional (IRI), IRI para modelo de "Medio Coche" y otros indicadores de regularidad superficial. El equipo calcula instantáneamente el IRI y produce gráficos in situ.
El Dipstick se puede usar en prácticamente cualquier superficie próxima a la horizontal, como pavimentos, tableros de puente, pistas de aterrizaje y de rodadura de aviones, etc. Mide al instante el IRI; el IRI de medio coche; profundidad de roderas; y otros indicadores de Regularidad Superficial; AASHTO R 41; Números F; Medidas con Reglas y proporciona gráficos tridimensionales.
El Dipstick se usa y especifica en 66 países.
El Banco Mundial, la Administración de Carreteras de los EE.UU. (FHWA y AASHTO R 41) y La Asociación Mundial de la Carretera (AIPCR) han establecido estándares de medida de la Regularidad Superficial con el Dipstick.
El Dipstick se utiliza habitualmente en todo el mundo para calibrar otros equipos de medida de la Regularidad Superficial. De hecho es el equipo universalmente utilizado para establecer datos de referencia de Regularidad Superficial.
Laboratorios de ensayo, propietarios, promotores, contratistas, universidades, organismos de investigación y agencias estatales de los cinco continentes han elegido el Dipstick por ser el equipo más preciso y repetible.     Why even measure AFTER the concrete is placed,?

      Yup, it is too late for THIS pour, but not too late for the NEXT pour. Measuring the floor after it is placed and finished lets you know how you are doing. If you are doing well, and this floor looks good so far, keep doing what you are doing. If you are passing, but just barely, this tells you that you probably want to step it up a bit. If you are failing after the first pour, this is a wake-up call.
