The Lake Fire took place last year during the 2020 Fire Season in August, The fire burned roughly 31,000 acres near Lake Hughes. The fire then was fully contained on September 28, four firefighters were treated for non-fatal injuries.

Today 9/11/2021 a 392 acre fire broke out off of Templin Highway near the 5 Freeway, during the initial attack of the fire. Two firefighters received minor injuries. On September 3, 2020 Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a reported 12 story high rise fire at the City National Bank on Lankershim Blvd. Once on scene LAFD reported smoke showing from the 12th floor. Do the operators wear jumpsuits & helmets?
They wear standard issued wildland jackets and brush pants with a helmet at all times.
@@CNFMedia Okay; very cool; a stretch, do you possibly know if Cal Fire & the Federal counterparts do, (reading about an incident with a different county operator crashing, mentioning how they are recommended to wear suits & helmets, figuring they meant the kind worn by LA City Fire; jumpsuit & special helmet)?
@@ex-missourifireexplorerrob8274 as far as I’ve seen out on fires, CalFire, USFS and LAFD all wear the same wildland gear.
The dozer know is stuff with blade tilt one side attack direct lot ball do this.

This dozer is going direct attack on the fire.... the blade is set to keep any burning material away from the unburned.
