it has it's challenges, but I"m used to it. It's been my residency for 18 years. It's a bar/restaurant so it's not like going to a show. I'm so comfortable with it now, that it feels awkward when doing a show where people are actually quiet. 🙂

It's a shame what has happened to the format overall. When I was in my teens it was really flourishing. That's a whole other debate. I'm trying my best to go direct to fan these days. There's only hand full of stations left, sadly.

@@eniola497 the best thing to do is listen to as many of the greats that you can and train your ear. Emulate what they are doing and make it your own. Repetitive practice. I still learn from the greats whether it's someone like David Sanborn, George Howard, Grover Washington Jr., Water Beasley, Candy Dulfer, etc.
