I found this video after looking for instrumental covers of this song. When I was 18, I had this Keith sweat CD and loved this song. One day after church, driving home in the truck with my dad I had this song playing. anddad. He asked “Son, do you think this is appropriate music to be listening to?” I said “oh dad I just like the music I’m not listening to the words.” And he responded challenging me to rethink that statement, so I turned it off, but I honestly felt that the music was really what I was interested in and your cover proves my point. We were both into smooth jazz around that time as well, and if my father heard your cover instead of Keith Sweat’s original version I’m sure he would’ve loved it.
