@@namevone the rumors going around saying bat replacement is a thrill coaster meaning vortex replacement is probably family friendly(48in height requirement)

@ interesting. I feel like it’d make way more sense the other way around since the Vortex plot is so front and center, you’d think they’d want a major coaster there.

@@namevone yeah and normally you want to hide super thrilling rides that's why you see giga coasters at the back of the park also vortex had a 48in height requirement so it would make sense to add another coaster with that height requirement there as cony mall where vortex was located offers a large number of kings island family rides while action zone offers kings island bigger thrill rides

@Outpost5Explorations I feel like invertigo is the next one to go since it's really out of place, and the bat is one of a dying kind of coaster so I think they'd like to keep it around especially since it's not like it doesn't get riders

@@NoCo_Prodzzz invertigo will most likely operate in 2026 and maybe 2027. From the rumors bat is first to go 2025 then everything else is within 3 years of 2025

​@@Outpost5Explorations tbh it would make more sense to remove a few of the other rides first for new flat rides and then the new big thrill coaster being added last to sorta finish off the new area like how Rapterra sorta finished off Jungle X for now.

if it had an inversion it wouldnt be a family coaster

@@deejaythedeejay it is no longer the 90s or early 2000s we see family coaster with Inversions every so often and they are becoming more popular. Intamin new family coaster offers inversion with a minimum height requirement of only 39 inches

@@Outpost5Explorations Oh like the LSM swing launch Intamins like Pantheion and Toutatis that have both been plagued with constant downtime ? Between Top Thrill, Maverick and Shoot The Rapids I don't blame them one bit for not wanting to have anything to do with Intamin - When you get a product that is a complete dud you do not go back to that same company for more

Clearly you don't know modern intamin and are only looking at the old ones and the new ones opening years these coasters are reliable enough for any park. And you know the trains can actually handle high speeds

@@Outpost5Explorations I know the water ride they just built this year at Bellewaerde opened for less than a month and has been closed since, The launched log flume at Sea World is constantly closed and they have already had to make multiple changes to it, Seriously they cant even get a water ride to be reliable now - And Pantheon and Toutatis are both newer Intamins and have both had the same level of reliability as the old ones - Is that enough modern Intamin for you, and Clearly you dont know that the CEO and many key employees from Intamin, many who worked on the original Dragster have migrated over to Zamprela and are who launched the new coaster division there , so TT2 pretty much is still an Intamin with a Zamprela logo on it

@@ElfDestruct yeah but are you adding another inverted coaster with inversions right next to banshee. I was thinking the best similar thing Kings Island could do is add a S&S axis coaster

@@deejaythedeejay Kings Island makes the chain money yes but the chain itself loses a ton of money. So removing old unpopular rides no matter at what park they save money. Also rumors are going around it's down after 2025 not sure if they are true but it's possible

@@Outpost5Explorations yes but the people in charge are Cedar Fair people. What Six Flags has done in the past is irrelevant. If you want to know what direction the combined companies are going to go look at the decisions that Cedar Fair has made recently.

@@Outpost5Explorations yeah there is certainly some truth to that. They did remove Volcano from KD after all. It's all going to depend on how much it is costing to maintain The Bat. BGW pulled the Big Bad Wolf because of a combination of rising maintenance costs and (according to some rumors I heard) because they could no longer get an insurance company to underwrite a policy for the ride. I hope they don't remove The Bat since it's one of the very few suspension coasters left in the world but that makes it even more at risk unfortunately.

@ashleighelizabeth5916 definitely not confirmed but rumors are going around that bat is done after 2025 and other rides in action zone will be closing within 3 years of 2025 to make room for a massive expansion including a retheme a new thrill coaster and some new flat rides. And a renovation or complete change of chicken Shack

@@JCBro-yg8vd actually not really. Vekoma came to Kings Island during the season and made repairs to the ride and they have parts from stinger. Not to mention invertigo is right at the front of the park and is easily seen so people would notice it's missing while people forget the bat even exist so a unannounced closer of the bat would probably not affect Kings Island because the GP don't really care for it

@@Outpost5Explorations Hm, didn't know about Invertigo getting repaired. Still, they could always decide to relocate it to another park.
