Nice video! The advantages of a charisma caster: Bon Mot (Diplomacy, can lower will save) and Demoralize (Intimidation, lowers everything) AC can be lowered by some Off Guard (tripped, grabbed, more?), Frightened (by demoralize or spell). Reflex can be lowered by Scoundrel Racket rogues. You're having a hiatus it seems. Recharging for Remaster content, are we? :)

I always thought the Alchemist would be far better if that level 7 feat to conjure Alchemist things on the fly 🪰 to be moved to level 2 or 3. I mean, there's already the limitations on being lower level than your current level. That way, your quick alchemy or daily preparation could be for the good stuff and the low level as filler

Thanks! As an oracle who uses intimidation for the initiative, I try my best to stay midrange from my team and enemies so I can attack from all sides. I can definitely use Demoralize and give the frightened status to enemies

Loved your video!

Those PF games are too rules heavy, made for players who like overpowered characters. The adventures are also too bad and restrictive. I play sandbox and this system is horrible for roleplaying. You'll spend two hours in a fight, making calculations. It is barely playable as rpg and more as a strategy game. See how the PF games are horribly played. The system doesn't fit a roleplaying experience.

cleric arch into alchemist with bomb as deity weapon. different bomb type have different saves. ye holly hand grenades' blithe our enemy's to smithereens. also extra healing potion daily never hurt .

Playing a sorceror in AV, cover is my friend. Saved me more than once.

My gnome bard has reached level 4. Maestro with polymath muse. People miss a trick with unseen servant/phantasmal minion. Send one, invisibly in the midst of a bunch of enemies and finish it with final sacrifice. You can do a huge amount of damage 8d6 in a 20' radius at level 4. Combine it of course with reach and you have an amazing blasting spell. If ypu have some tasks for the phantasmal minion to perform before you send it to its final destiny, so much the better.

Been looking for more Pathfinder 2E content. I want to GM it (and play) but there’s so much D&D stuff it’s hard to find good channels like yours,

The biggest problem I have teaching D&D players PF2E is working as a team. Teamwork is so much more important in 2E then they realize. Also convincing them that taking fleet is a really good option.

Wow! I never really considered how incredibly cost efficient first level heal scrolls are! Those other two options are also very potent, love the idea of a wizard just poking there Marshall to heal them back up. XD

Making every encounter challenging feels like a 5e hangover to me - that system needs that. But pathfinder certainly doesn't, the difficulty is tuned harder for equivalent CR / Level, so the GM needs to use Low and Trivial encounters as much as any others.

Versatile doesn't mean weak. Druid can be built in so many ways it's kinda crazy, but they can be good at many things. Being one of the few classes getting Shield block for free at lvl 1 and medium armor proficiency makes them just being able to do anything, really (at least at low levels).

This was really well explained, and edited really well! Definitely gonna be using this channel as a resource as i get into pathfinder more.

A great video and nice explanations. The alchemist is as strong as your game knowledge And your group scout abilities/Recall Knowledge capacity. To buff the party with a +1 above the expected accuracy (lvl 2 you get +1 iten bonus runes. At lvl 3 you get the +2 iten mutagen buffs. The +2 rune is waaaaaay later, so a lot of levels you are ahead), have consistent damage with splash bombs And weakness damage on a Miss, give more damage to the party with poisons, debuff enemies (looking at you, skunk bomb, lightning bomb, etc)... The alchemist doesn't offer anything BIG (big damage, big heals, big debuffs, big buffs, etc), but he gives you Consistency and Versatility. If you NEED a tool, the alchemist can have at a moment notice. And you need to remember: PF2e is a Team Game. If your team is debuffing the enemy and buffing you (as they should, since you are doing the same for them) with Frightened condition, clumsy, etc, well look at you! That Miss since your accuracy is lower than the rest turned into a hit! Here we go, ride that persistent damage! You're not going after Crits. This isn't your niche. When it happens is cool, but not the goal. The miss/hit is, at least with bombs. If you go Poison, archer dedication is your go to option and your martial friends. That extra damage from the fighter is YOUR damage, with your High DC poison that they couldn't have access. The chirurgion don't heal as much as other healers, but look at Medicine and Godless Healing. Your elixir isn't from some divine font, so heal as your heart content and have those Treat Wounds/Battle Medicine crits! You're a heal machine AND keep all the versatility i said before! (Use Medic archetype and go for multiple Battle Medicine with good action economy too)

Currently playing a level 2 Gnome Maestro Bard. I think there is a temptation for a party of Ranger, Barbarian, Swashbuckler and Rogue to use him as the walking healing potion. The Ranger with some theiving ability and the rogue appear to be not dividing the loot fairly. At the opportune time I shall use "Lie to me" and expose their underhand dealings. They will discover not to trifle with the bard. Bards are full of surprises.

Got a champion in my group. As a GM, they are frustrating to deal with (in a fun way) Can't hit 'em and their reactions are amazing!

1001 choices that in the end does not do anything. Worst example are the skill feats: situational and giving tiny advantages. Or the cantrip guidance: once per hour (!) a +1 …wtf?

Good video. New pf2e gm here with a new pf2e group. I was a little disappointed that most of my players picked the traditional classes for their first characters, but not that they didn't try the alchemist. Even at a light glance you can see the alchemist requires a lot of game knowledge to be effective.

Well I can't agree the the creator of this video. The problems with pathfinder are exatcly in the rules. No other system feels MMORPGish (and I mean the worst of mmorpg genre) as much as pf 2nd edition. It gives little room for roleplaying, it limits players choice drasticly during campaign and it locks you into one playstyle. I'm open for discussion, but no other system has divided ttrpg comminuty like pf 2nd edition/ Personaly I have never met a person who said something like "it has it's upsides and it's downsides" more like either it's an extremly awesome system to host or play sessions or fcking garbage waste of money and time
