GLR Group is back with another car review. In this video we had the privilege to review a car that iss quite popular yet relatively unknown for its luxurious attributes. The 2018 Kia Optima really provides a great middle ground between affordability and luxury, making it a strong contender in the mid size/executive sedan category. brotha I will get back to it soon🫡 dont forget to subscribe
Just came from your video with Saliba
We had a 80 Corolla tercel great car a beater
Toyota has been good to us I say thanks for a wonderful car.
That’s not an LE it’s an XLE😅
ohhhhh thats why it says LE on the back because LE actually means XLE. Because why would LE mean LE, everyone knows if the badge says LE it actually means XLE
Good job man. Enjoyed it. Maybe I would recommend a better clearer recording angle. Other than that great job bro!
@10:50 thats not true - the OG 5speed automatic was way stronger, thats why it got used in many high horsepower applications back in the days.
the 5speed was stronger compared to the previous 7speed. The new 7 speed in the w212 is stronger
Sad thing is, lots of people snatch these cars for pennies on the dollar just to hoon with them, but cheap out on the required maintenance on a close-to six figure vehicle. So many molested and neglected examples of these on the used market as a result.
yeah I agree. I was quite lucky to find this vehicle
Это w212😂
I like everything but the steering wheel looks really out of place. I was going to buy one but went with w205 c class instead looks a bit more modern
yeah I agree. This steering wheel design was a big mistake from MB and you can see that they knew this because facelift has a much more modern looking steering wheel. Primary reason i would never own a c63 coupe is I am 6'4 so it is quite uncomfortable for me. and if i am getting a 4dr sedan might as well get the e class
I have the facelifted 2014 E63S and man it's awesome. The AWD is a game changer at the drag strip and red lights ;)
although I don't like m157 one bit, this is quite true. 4matic and twin turbo setup gave eclass amg a true cutting edge and made it quite relevant with the competition of the day. I find M156 RWD configuration to be far more fun to drive around tho
@@GLRGroup Why don’t you like the M157? I’d recommend actually driving a M157 to see how it drives. The 70/30 split performs very similar to RWD car and makes more power.
@@Shalerboy101 honestly m157 is a good performing engine but there are a bit more unreliable from what i see as a mechanic/dealership. I did drove m157 cls63 which I love but m156 has a special part in my heart
Beast
It’s quite old now.
not really. Still quite fast and ironically keeps up with most modern cars.
I would rather that E63 anyday of the week 😭
The W211 also had alloy guards, bonnet and boot lid. All of them not just the AMG.
bro lemme clickbait in peace
"Rear Bombaclat heated seats" killed me 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
big man ting brotha you already know💯💯💯💯

It's called "submarining". Should he hit anything, he will slide UNDER the shoulder belt and will have MAJOR pelvic / abdominal damage due to the lap belt.

Road signs on the dash are captured via frontal cameras used to the lane departure warning and adaptive cruise controls, you guys should also include under the hood footage next time. Common Marshall editing W and Orhan based. Türkiye number 1
toyoter 🔥
great video!
Thanks!
I'm a little confused about the gauge display in the vehicle you're showing here. It looks like the XLE gauges, not the LE AWD gauges. Maybe it's different in Canada?
Yes the American and Canadian trims have different structures. We get the upgraded gauge for the hybrid LE for some reason. Not sure why :)
Just because you dont feel the battery regen when you lift off the accelerator pedal doesnt mean its not happening.
Of course it still regenerates power. Compare to many Toyota and Lexus vehicles I drove, you feel that regen less
If it was the Fastback Hybrid, I'd be driving one right now. (The trunk is too limiting) Otherwise, you are 100% correct.
The fastback models sale numbers are lower than the sedans in the North America. I personally like the fastback's design as well
If that’s your only concern, I’m happy to report this thing can easily carry a Burmese Mountain Dog, construction materials, a chainsaw, a jerrycan and all the necessary stuff for a weekend at the cottage. One year in, never had a moment where it’s been an issue. I got myself a Thule with the OEM roof bars and it does the trick. With an average of 4,2L/100km. I mean, at 31K$CAN, you save plenty of bucks to rent a work truck when and if needed. But then again, never had to do it. I admit: even with a very good salary, I just don’t want to spend money on a car, especially with how destroyed are the roads. So the cheaper the better.
@@jaybou007 and the Burmese is certainly a BIG dog. My Pharoah Hound would be dwarfed by them!😆
