The only thing I have done to it is put Metzeler Track Day Slick tyres on it and akro end cans. It has standard suspension.

@@scottgilmour2135 I am using SDS DC brake pads, but apart from that it is a standard brake system. I had an issue with a leaking fork seal for the whole trip so was trying not to brake too hard and keep it slow and steady when braking.

@@gixerthou7304 Oh dear! I’m about to get some new pads for track. EBC Sintered sets. How good are the SDS DC’s compared to standard. Also, where did you get the fairings from, they look great. 😂Sorry for all the Q’s 👍🏻

@@scottgilmour2135 the DC brake pads are really good. I got the fairings direct from Ducati. They are the same as the red standard ones but a bit thinner and lighter and come with head light and tail light blanks. I then got them wrapped by sublime designs.

They were designed and fitted by Sublime Designs Motowrap in the UK

Yes just stuck it to the top yoke with Velcro tape.

That first big drop @1.27 looks nothing on the video but my mate nearly flipped it there and my wheel was lifting on the rise on the main straight in 5th gear ,yeah i was scared on the first day !

@@Mog1290r yes the video doesn’t do the elevation changes any justice. I kept having to short shift over the drop to avoid the front whelp coming up. What a great track. Brands Hatch on steroids

So there is a button you press that finds pre loaded tracks according to the GPS signal, or there is another option where you press a button to tell it you are in the pit straight then do a couple of laps and it figures it out itself.

Thanks Harry. The little SV650 was epic in the corners. I have upgraded to a GSXR1000 and can’t carry the same corner speed.

A bit of a beast to be honest. Just going to take it step by step to get used to it. But enjoying it and the extra power! Best of luck for Tuesday!

Thanks. I’m still learning how to ride the SV. I think I need to change the gearing to get it to accelerate harder out of the corners.

@@gixerthou7304 I’m sure it will always feel a little small at a track like Silverstone (compared with 200bhp litre bikes) but looks like you know how to ride it pretty well already!
