Burnley FC: The Scott Parker Era Begins
Best so far were Boro, worst were Luton which is nuts
@@flyoverfredusa first game of season though won't it, expect a closer game when they come to the turf
Laurent on Hamer, over power him
@@flyoverfredusa it's a great shout
McBurnie on LOAN isn't terrrrrrible, permanently? I'd rather cut my balls off. I'd look at Borja Sainz although he's not really a striker (although scoring 15 in 22 as of currently) although it'd be difficult as he's obviously Norwich's best player. Or Callum Lang who's got a few shouts and actually IS a striker, obviously just scored 4 against Coventry and has 9 goals and 1 assist in 16 games. I'd hope we'd go in for both personally, both players would definitely want to make the move up. Being from Norwich and Portsmouth the decision doesn't sound exactly difficult, Lang up top and Sainz to replace Brownie as the creator/goalscorer when he goes, if he goes. (which he probably will)
Brownhill probably edging his bets to see what division we will be in next season, I'd love him to stay - it would be a tragedy to let him go for nowt
He would be a knock of Barnes 22/23 season don't want him wouldn't mind benrahma tho
@@johannthegreat12 yes now theres a shout
In my view Mcburnie reminds me more of an old school Centre forward. He’ll battle as we know but don’t think he would fit in with our way of playing.
@@Bibg867 agree mate, he doesn't seem a parker player tbh
What are you wearing, Dan? Come on, lad, have some dignity
Up. The. Clarets. Scott. Parker. Doing. Great. Job. But. We. Need. Proven. Goalscorer. And. Midfielders. Putting. Him. Through.
Stop moaning ,get behind parker and players
Traff motm
Calling for Laurent to start makes no sense honestly, unless you address where exactly you see him playing. Who are you dropping to fit him in? Brownhill? Cullen? Or someone else? Imo Laurent was absolutely poor against Derby, and just because he’s decent coming off the bench doesn’t mean he deserves a starting spot. He’s had plenty of chances as a starter and hasn’t exactly pulled up any trees. You also guys spoke about him and Flemming but barely gave a mention to the youngest sub, who came on and genuinely changed the game. Without him we wouldn’t have scored the winner and grabbed the 3 points. I’m also convinced if he wasn’t suspended for Derby, he could’ve made an impact there too. Even Norwich fans I spoke to after the game said Hannibal was the one who brought energy and life to the team when he came on, that’s what they saw from their perspective. The lad’s seriously underrated, and credit needs to be given where it’s due.
Fans want to watch a decent game with attacking football. All this playing about with the ball at the back , sometimes losing it or other times finding the half way line only for the ball to go back to the keeper.. this will never fill the ground. It has nothing to do with the finances of the fans . It's paying good money to watch the type of football that's on offer. There's four life long clarets at our house that's not going on , for the that reason.
Not sure why Scott doesn’t say to James and the two defenders, stop passing around in triangles at the back. Seems a fairly simple tactical change?
Yeah stop with the whinging my word we could be sitting midtable
Because the football bores the arse off us. These podcasts never talk about his awful cv. Boring the Fulham and Bournemouth fans. Getting sacked by Bruge. His football is defensive and boring . Stop with the excuses , you think we are all stupid . Here we go again ,who else can we have ? Little old `Burnley eh? How dare we expect more
Fulham and Bournemouth? You mean those now solid Premier League teams? Wonder who got them there in the first place.......who care if he's boring if he gets promotion no one will care one jot!
@ ask them he did f all, slagged the players off, they got better AFTER he left. So you like watching shit football. Up to you mate, I wont
@@PhilSpears65734 I care. I’d much rather watch interesting, exciting football from a group of players that I feel a connection with, and who can become heroes - than watch the boring dross that gets us into the Premier League, means we need to have yet another total change of squad (because there is no way at all this squad can compete in the PL) only to get battered every week and come straight back down.
Wanker that you mr massey
LUFC
are you 14?
@@WhereClaretsWalk That's his IQ
Atmospheres create the passion in football, many of those that like to go and make the noise have been priced out of attending games and the atmosphere's have suffered. Compare the Championship/PL to what you see in Germany etc. Elite football in England is about tourists attending.
We need ALK to back Parker in January and give him better (and more) to work with in the final third so they can have no excuse. As it is now we don't have enough imho. Sorry Mark, we don't have some of the best attackers in the league at all. Parker's interviews are always honest, fair play to him.
Ah we are little burnley. How dare we expect more. High expectations? That's what is needed to get on. Aim high. Bollocks to putting up with shite.
Excellent. Win. For. Burnley. Get. Flemming. Signed. Permanently
Let us know your thoughts on the Turf Moor Atmosphere - is it the worst it's been?
This hasn’t aged well 😂😂😂 Parker out for me
Damn right here Kieron!
Koleosho is wank, just say it how it it fellas
😂😂
Speak for yourselves guys - always takes 15 games to properly judge a manager... given the circumstances Scott faced add two on to that... and.... we're flying!
He's. Doing. Great. Job. Burnley. Fans. Just. Expect. To. Win. Every. Home. Game. Up. The. Clarets
I've been a Burnley fan since 1967 so I've seen it all, it's sad how some fans can be so fickle and critical until the new manager shows what they're made of and how the can steer the club in a new direction, I hope Scott gets the best respect he deserves and hopefully we'll be back in the Premiership next season with more club records along the way hey 😁 💞 😘 UTMC .
Burnley fan base a few of them wankers mrmassey u t c
Maybe our criticism forces Scot to change his style ? Who knows
You have a point
Bloody hell just wait and see, maybe it will get better but maybe it will be shit

I’m holding off about parker, bit too soon to say how he is doing .
Merry Christmas to all Clarets !! ⚽️
Winning. Not conceding.
This is maybe a bit hard to swallow for Burnley supporters, but I don’t , want a promotion for this Burnley side this season. My fear is this Burnley side will not be able to survive in the Premier League, and will come straight down again. Having said that Burnley are performing great in this league. UTC👍👏⚽️❤️
I think Parkers pragmatic approach to the Prem would suit us though, he wouldn't be kamikaze like VK
I might actually agree with you on this, but not because we’d struggle as much as we did with Kompany in the Premier League. I even think Parker’s style of play is very well suited for the Premier League. But i do believe that if this squad, full of young players, stayed in the Championship for another season, we’d be much better prepared for the next stage in the Premier League.
Probably been spoiled. Kompany ball not coming back, Both Dyches promotions usually much easier on the eye. Parker has built a solid foundation following that transfer window. If we can hang in until window this could be another good season.
Here's hoping Andy mate, cheers for commenting
cant wait to play burnley, hope we play you before parker gets sacked
Good cell pal, not looking forward to playing the blades
4 out of 10 for recruitment, a massive downturn in quality

Squad is currently rated at 190 million which is 90 million more than two years ago and it has a much younger average age. As a whole the squad and club is doing great but still a work in progress, which is currently going in the right direction.
I'd have to agree with Tarky and Mee. I also liked Gary Cahill and Frank Sinclair going back a few years. Then there was Colin Waldron and Jim Thompson back in the early 70's when we took the top league by storm!
Brian Miller & Jimmy Adamson also, or that even before your time Mick?
@@WhereClaretsWalk Yes before my time as players, although I remember them both as successful managers!
