THIS WAS PEAK ROMANCE BUILDING. I saw this show 3 years ago but im still upset they never properly got together because by season 3 what made their relationship cute was dead. And so were the characters by the end of it

I really loved this show. I especially liked how every season was kind of a different genre: season 1 was a mystery, season 2 was a survival drama/horror, and season 3 was post-apocalyptic. Really wish they'd gotten a season 4 to really wrap things up. The show was a lot better than the book it was based on. Even if the show did split Jackson's personality in two, between Jackson and Mitch. Also, this show had the balls to kill of a main character out of nowhere lmao because in the book, Jackson and Chloe get married and have a kid so absolutely no one was expecting her to suddenly die toward the beginning of season 2. Zoo will always hold a special place in my heart. I will never be able to watch it for the first time again, but I do remember how much I loved every episode when I first watched it. The premise, on paper, can be kind of ridiculous especially if you're trying to explain the general plot without giving things away, and season 1 can seem kind of slow and boring on rewatch sometimes once you know the mystery they're solving, but I still really like the show. The 10 year time gap was ballsy too. While I love Mitch (and especially love the actor who plays him) I kind of wish he'd just stayed dead after season 2 instead of the whole 'oh he's alive, and what's this he's also one of the main bad guys WHAAAAAT' twists. I mean Abe kind of took over as the scientist guy anyway so it just kind of felt unnecessary except to continue the Mitch/Jamie/Logan drama (and don't even get me started on Jamie... I just really don't like her as a character, she's fine on paper and nothing against her actress, but she's just a character type I don't like). But anyway, love the show, love the vid, love this song. Thanks for making this and for sharing it with us! This show really does need more love and more vids.
