    I agree with everyone's sentiment that watching this live with all the knowledge we have now, makes it so special and so enjoyable. These guys were struggling and they still showed up for their fans and put on a stellar performance and knocked it out of the park. I like this song on the album but I love it live! Also, I know its not the same but Jason Bonham's band does a live version of Fool in the Rain and it's so fun to watch him get into the groove in that song.

    It’s better seeing it live. Jimmy and JPJ were amazing. They all seem to be having a good time. Robert loves Elvis and this was an homage to him plus that country music influence. While it’s Led Zeppelin and better than most bands songs - I just can’t stand Elvis’ music and true country music. I have always skipped over this one after I heard it when playing the vinyl when it first came out. I can appreciate what they put into it without liking it. I feel like a traitor to my favorite band but, one song out of their entire discography, still a die hard fan. An OG fan. 1969 🤟🏻🤟🏻♥️

    He loved Elvis, & ambulated him when he was a kid, behind the curtains of his bay window. They met Elvis, & spent a few hours with him, when leaving Elvis stepped out into the Hall. Elvis started singing the song Plant said he loved, & left it for Plant to sing it too. Supposedly Elvis wanted to meet the band, that was selling more tickets then him. There is an interview with them about meeting Elvis, as always their interviews are amazing, & knowledgeable. Yes watching the joy of the live does make this better, it isn’t really one of my favorites. You are know eligible to watch any of their live concerts. Royal Albert Hall (1970). Madison Square Gardens (1973). Earls Court (1975). & Knebworth (1979). I’ve seen each of the last three, & you get better feeling for how great they were live. You know as always, thank you hun.

    They used an early type of drum effect on Bonzo's kit for this, and they'd had the lasers as part of their show for a while. Indeed, Jimmy played this with both the whammy and a pick and as far as Robert's voice goes; there's a saying, if you're only running at 50% but you give your entire 50, then you gave 100%. Robert always gave his all, regardless if there were some missed notes, a vocal croak or crack, whatever, he was in it. A bit of trivia about this concert; there's a telephone on Jonesy's keys but he said he didn't know who placed it there, and it wasn't connected to anything, so he just left it. 🙂

  • @oldzephead1237
    @oldzephead1237 10 วันที่ผ่านมา

    Honestly, this show always makes me feel a little sad. Robert had lost his boy, and I feel like you can see in his face the enormous pain he still feels. To me, he's obviously changed, and I mean besides just his voice. If you watch the whole show or even just the video again, I think you'll see what I mean. That, and the fact that just thirteen months after this show Bonzo would be gone, makes this show a tough watch for me at times. Bonzo missed his family terribly and that is what drove him to drink like he did, which as you know, led to his demise. He and his wife, Pat, were high school sweethearts, married in 1966 until his death. They had two children, Jason and Zöe. Pat still lives in the home they shared to this day. 💔

      @@ToMitoReacts1017 looking at Jimmy, you can tell how bad his heroine addiction had gotten too, he still plays amazing especially on Achilles Last Stand, but he looks like hell. Robert didn’t have his full passion here, & it’s understandable, he explains during the concert how nervous he is, & many other things. I believe Robert says his daughter Carman is in the audience, closer to home the kids often were there, it let them see what their dads do. Two big concerts there, on the 4 & 11th, the fans absolutely loved it, but yes it is sad. I still miss Bonham to this day, I find it harder listening to music without him.

    Psychedelic Hard Rock at its best! Song info: Robert Plant's lyrics are about how the rich and famous are still exposed to pain and suffering, just in different ways. Jimmy Page used a drone effect on his guitar similar to create a sound similar to what he did on the song "In The Light," but instead of using a cello bow on his guitar, he used a Gizmotron to create the effect. The Gizmotron is a guitar processing device invented by Lol Creme and Kevin Godley from the band 10cc to get a strange distorted sound. When they were recording this album, Jimmy Page and John Bonham were spending a lot of time together and would usually show up at the studio very late and work through the night. This started out with just drums and keyboards created by John Paul Jones, who had a new drum machine to work with. Robert Plant called this song, "A great one, a real stomper." The intro was apparently taken from a soundtrack Jimmy Page was working on for fellow Aleister Crowley admirer Kenneth Anger's film Lucifer Rising. The soundtrack for the film ended up being provided by Bobby Beausoleil, a member of the Manson family.

    Live, the song was out of this world! 🤯 Jimmy, JPJ, and Bonzo really shine on this live video. I think Robert did amazingly well adjusting to his new vocal range. I think he sounded great at this concert. But it was really all about the other 3 on this one. Jimmy tried so many unusual things to get sounds that you might not hear by any other artist. Yes, using pick and whammy bar in this song. I’ve only seen him do that a couple of times but wow! Bonzo had God-given talent on the drums. It wasn’t just the way he hit them but the tuning, his incredible sense of timing, and being able to hold down the song with JPJ, or follow Jimmy. Then JPJ gets to play with his new toy. Fantastic reaction video!

    Since they went 2 years without performing, after the passing of Plant’s son, I think Page & Bonham were just so damn happy to be playing. Sadly Plant’s vocals aren’t what they were in the earlier days, but he still gives it his all. Like on the 2007 Celebration Day concert, belting it out wasn’t as effortless, but he did it. Still my favorite band, & my favorite singer.

    The live is so much better then the studio, I know you weren’t a big fan of the studio either. Bonham was married to his high school sweetheart, I heard she still lives in the home they shared, & never remarried. I gave you a list of videos, there isn’t much from this album, I think the full concert at Knebworth has the live of All Of My Love. I could only find the video of footage with his family, with the studio song. Hey here on the 29th I’m going to see Get The Led Out, finally, I’ll let you know how it was. Thanks again for your reaction, is saw it pop up the other day, but you had an issue. So glad you were able to up load it, & I’d rather the text, then the blurred out others do.

    Taylor has never publicly said anything about Hayley's with either her ex or him. He lets the work and music speak for itself. He only talks about how proud he is of her for being open and honest wit her lyrics and that's it. It has always been that way when they were friends, during after laughter and every song she has written about Taylor since they've been together which is half petals for armor, the whole album flowers for vases and liar as romantic partners but has never said anything more or say out loud she is his partner. They confirmed they're dating in an interview online and the writer said they confirm they're dating but won't give any more details and that's it. We as fans now more details and hayley is the one giving us those clues and mentioning by name Taylor is her partner and they've getting more comfortable on stage on showing some type of pda of affection but that's about all we're gonna get from Taylor on being with hayley because that's who he is. He lets the music talk for itself and hayley do the talk lol

  • @nineanutzaparamore
    @nineanutzaparamore 15 วันที่ผ่านมา

    For Taylor is his favorite lyrics hayley has written but in the interview he doesn't talk about them just the music because even tho it was confirmed they were datying , to the public we as fans knew but they only confirmed in 2022, and he is super private about it along with hayley but since the lyrics pointed out at him connecting the dots, many people interpreted the song wrong as cheating but is about denial of your feelings and not wanting to bring down the other person because of your baggage but they waited and once they were ready , then they were able to create the healthy relationship they've but on the Zane interview, podcast and another interview with an Australian magazine he doesn't talk about the lycis, just creation of the music and how honest her lyrics are because it wasn't easy but they're here...he is her number one fan and always defends her vulnerability in her lyrics in every aspect. Was on after laughter when everything was super dark and with liar even her songs about Taylor from her two albums but Taylor doesn't talk about them to not talk about their relationship publicly just says he's proud of their work and how real her lyrics are.

  • @nineanutzaparamore
    @nineanutzaparamore 15 วันที่ผ่านมา

    So, in 2018 when hayley and Taylor started dating both of them were going through some stuff and they ended breaking up for about 4 months and hayley ended writing her second solo album about that period since she was super dark navigating everything from her childhood trauma, her divorce and the ending of her relationship with Taylor what she thought it was and that album she played everything instrument because she started writing it during the breakup but recorded during the pandemic when they were back together and didn't want Taylor be apart of the grief period she went through one those songs and the album goes between part one and two of her first album petals for armor and the last song of that album is about 100% Taylor admitting her feelings and how blind she was in the past but she has never been safer than now she is with Taylor and can see all crystal clear which was mentioned in liar and kinda joins the two songs saying she was in denial, didn't want to fight for those feelings but he knew and waited for her until she was ready and once they both were and were healthy that's when they both committed to the relationship they have now which they've been since 2019 no counting the brief breakup. Watch their interview with Zane lowe, they explain the story behind and also a podcast of them explaining how creating the melody and music for liar which comes full circle since Taylor had the melody of liar since 2018 or even before but that year during their time away, he posted a video of him coming up with melodies and trying to write music but he was super down and part of that melody was what it became liar and that clip is up there on TH-cam if you wanna check it out.

    For Coda, be sure to use the boxed setlist, which includes "Hey Hey, What Can I Do" and "Travelling Riverside Blues." Both are favorites of mine, and when I was young, you could occasionally hear them on the radio even though there was no way to get them before the box set was released-unless you could find the 45 single of Immigrant Song.
