I first recorded this song on an album over a decade ago. The imagery of the sea captivates me to this day and of course Jesus himself spent much of his ministry near or on the water. barf... ugh no. stop... click. I love this hymn, but absolutely hate the style. this should be sung as a beautiful choral song in the new interpretation (european one... same melody, different rhythm) I can't stand this style nor the original rhythm. It's a beautiful hymn that was rendered in a very unsuitable style from the beginning. it's just so twangey and ... ugh, don't even know what to call it
