Sealing joints like arthritis…
I am going to apply mastic to my basement ductwork. A lot of the ductwork is attached to the ceiling and will be difficult for me to remove. Will I still see a significant improvement if I only seal the joints that I am able to get to, probably somewhere around 80% of the joints?
how do you get a piece of ductwork that small
This guy looks like he needs to pee. Stand still.
Good ol ducky butter 😂😂
I will now and forever refer to this product as such, thank you.
How can i replace a old trunks system in a old doublewide with rusted out risers and holes in actual ductwork,,tired of patching it..is it possible to engineer a BETTER setup by using reg home ductwork
Let’s go brandon 🍦🍦🍦👍🏿
I’m replacing my insulation on a house I bought. Should I mastic paint the joints?
I wouldn't think a Pittsburgh seam should have to be sealed , that is a pretty tight seam already .
Is mastic water proof to prevent condensation on the inside of the pipe from leaking out?
If you have condensation on the inside you have a problem with your ductwork. It's either not insulated correctly or their are design layout issues or problems with the airflow ,charge or something else .
@@Gcanno 100%
Is it ok to put mastic inside the duct?
Yes just don't glob it on to the point it restricts airflow
You also need to seal up the riveted seams on each portion/section of the adjustable elbow
Can you use this product if it is already taped?
Yes it seals over tape and the tape won't come back off over time
Nickel thick application is best as it will resist cracking over time.
Nice and easy video! Should you use aluminum 181 tape after spreading mastic?
No mastic is a far better method.
1 MASTIC 2 FIBER MESH 3 MASTIC!
Pretty cool music video
$64 Month Being That The Warranty Is 7 Years Long. I Think We Had An Outage 2 Times In 7 Years, I'm Good...
Nice Video, I have fiberglass duct with gaps at the end caps and 90 degree joints. I don’t have access to it form the outside only the inside. Can I use this stuff or am i better off with caulk and insulation expanding foam? Thank you
Nice video. Easy. Thanks!
Show some close-ups, dude.
