I met the 3 Young brothers in the late 1990's. Malcolm is cool, Angus...is ugh. A famous guy for sure and about 5 foot zero. The other brother was management and had songs in the 60's. Nice enough. Malcolm is the guy you want to hang out with. He is well read fyi....rip.

This has become the new life show that I will be watching and starting thoroughly. I’d like to thank the channel for this to which I just subscribed. By the way, this is Fil “SoloDallas”, and I currently still work with AC/DC. Angus has been using for the past 10 years my invention or re-invention, the Schaffer circuit (Schaffer-Vega) that Angus was using on this very concert not only to be free of cables but also to obtain this incredible sound that you are hearing. The scorching tone, sustain and THEREFORE his amazing, best-on-planet vibrato was largely available to him because of the Schaffer circuit.

This period was weird.. Angus is running Mesa Boogie amplifiers and his tone is a bit too overdriven and thin, his leads didnt really cut the through the mix.. Chris's time is very rushed and stiff.. the way he plays the hihat doesnt groove with Malcolms rythm, theres no swing or pocket to it and he comes in early a lot.. you can hear why they wanted Phil back in tne band they sounded much better on tne next tour with Phil and strictly Marshal tone

Question for anyone who was also at this show. I remember when acdc was on, bon scott or a bouncer put Angus on their shoulders and carried him thru the crowd while he played. I dont see that on this video, but i know it happened. I was only 16 and didnt drink or anything at the time, so i remember it well. Ha. Anyone else remember this part of the show?

80-82, they were completely unstoppable. Best concerts ever. On a different level than shows with Bon. Nothing will beat the Bon years but Brian fn rules, just as hard.
