But some people just want to be parents...this is dismissive of us. We grieve, and it never gets better. Grieving doesn't fix the issue. This is unhelpful and it's full of blame and shame.

Thank you for your comment. We completely understand that every person's experience of childlessness is different and that one point of view/way of coping is not necessarily suited to everyone. This webinar merely shows the experiences of some women who were happy to share their coping mechanisms in the hope that it may help others. As the national fertility charity, we completely recognise the pain of being unable to conceive and would never want or intend to diminish those feelings.

So what happens to the other 10%? They are miserable forever? Also, what is the point of surviving and/or coping?

This was disheartening- many of us have tried all these things with no relief at all. Is there nothing more?

It's not actually 1 in 3 women who have had an abortion. As with divorce, the figures are conflated by people who have had more than one abortion. It's important to be clear on this. The sad truth is if abortion were not available, these women would never have experienced this pain. I also don't think women who have had abortions are the same as those who would never have terminated their kids. It's a pity that there was so much focus on abortion in this video.

I have friends who qualified for IVF on the NHS and they have many children now, and will have many grandchildren. I and thousands others did not ever qualify because I have one child....I still have one child. If in a stable or married long term relationship, the desire for second child should be a good use of public funding to assist.

Thank you so much for the opportunity to share our experiences. Brandi and I both hope that by being so honest about the challenges that we have been going through recently that it will give other people comfort that they too will be able to move through their grief. I have realised that when I answered the question about the CanbaceLife Twitter chat I talked about what it is and how it might help. However, I am not sure that I shared any specific information about date/time and how to join the conversation. The Twitter Chat takes place every Tuesday at 7pm (London). This is 2pm in New York /Montreal and 11am in Los Angeles/Vancouver, although these times may differ by an hour in the spring/autumn when the clocks change. Unfortunately it is "silly o'clock" in Australia and New Zealand. The Twitter Chat lasts for an hour. To join in the conversation simply use #CanbaceLife .

Sadly too many women belive the toxic feminism and waste their best years for their careers while neglecting relations and babies and really expect to instantly find a perfect husband in their 30s after a career and endless hook ups . It's a tragedy.

husbands are not necessary when it comes to conception, I'm not sure you know, you weird, weird creature form long-gone past. The speaker's mistake was actually staying in her marriage for waay to long, not the opposite.

Lol, you're saying this when the host was clear she met her husband at 22 and married at 26. Please! You think everyone fits in your narrative where women are to blame for everything. If you're single, maybe it's because instead of spending time doing productive masculine work, you're on women's channels leaving berating comments. How's that for wasting time?

So true what you say about grief ...Thankgod you were studying it..... I spent 30 years thinking that childlessness had made me crazy or that maybe I was crazy anyway and thats why I was childless...just one big brain mess....that screwed me and my self confidence...in such weird ways, I was in permanent escapism just to stay in this world..But no one knew. I survived, just..but 52 was my number for years ...and now Im nearly there with a whole other brain in my head ...I know people havent ...I wonder if there are now suicide numbers of childless not by choice women...unnamed grief was a weight more than some could carry ...Thanks to all the women who speak up so bravely REPLY 
