hu... asking for freelook and jumping into the official port x) and also, it's not just by choice that we can't freelook in doom, the world is simply not rendered in 3D, so it would not work properly. I mean, yes, you could just render the game in 3D, but at this point it's not the same game anymore. In GZdoom, the opengl renders very differently than software. the colors, the lightning, everything... We finally have a fine respectful official modern Doom, there's nothing to change (it's just a bit weird to have crosshair enabled by default, but ok). I understand, you want a Doom remastered, something more like gzdoom. I say, why not, but it needs to be a separate game. Call it "Doom + Doom II REMASTERED" or something, make it full 3D, add raytraycing, voxels, mouselook, jumping, everything. I'm fine with it, as long as it's not the same game.

I love how they took remake and actually remade the game, combat system changed the story as opposed to remaking the game with a graphical update other games company don’t always do when they say it’s remade. They did a great job of characters and character depth as well. Yufi is but she is a secret character some players never unlocked.

You do know that importing is a thing. I don't think it worth it, but it does exist as an option.
