This was really good! When I would create the 'App password' I was selecting 'mail' as the app instead of gmail. Hopefully, this cures my emailing issues (error 550 5.1.1) Thanks again for this succinct tutorial!

I have never made a comment before on TH-cam. However, I wanted to make sure people watch this video!! It took me 5 hours and at least 4 videos with reading various articles to finally come across this video that explained it well enough step-by-step for me to be able to figure it out! Glad I was able to find this video as it was the only video that helped me overcome the error messages I was receiving. I needed to enable the 2 step verification. This video is a must-watch!

Excellent presentation! I wish that I had seen this earlier. It would have saved me hours. I do have a question, I followed your video and I noticed that my gmail account and my nonprofit business account are not fully linked. I can read emails from both accounts (whether gmail or nonprofit) but when I respond from an account (ie nonprofit) the other account (ie gmail) does not have the reply message that I sent. I hope this makes sense. So, how do I link both gmail and nonprofit together where I read my gmail via nonprofit and then respond from my nonprofit and it will also have that response in the gmail account. Ohh my loordddd! I bought my domain and wanted to set up another alias but was forever trying to find the password! I had no idea! I thought it was my actual G-mail account password and couldn't figure out why it wasn't accepting anything I put in there even after multiple password changes!! Absolute life-saver. Thank you!!

Hey I can never get the verification email!! Can someone help me??

Can u help me figure out why the fw stopped? I got an error message "You're sending this from a different address or alias using the 'Send mail as' feature. The settings for your 'Send mail as' account are misconfigured or out of date. Check those settings and try resending." I think its because I turned off 2 factor auth a while back, I tried to reset up the process, but I am getting another error when entering the app password So I can receive to the alias but not send from the alias.... please help

Thanks so much for this. I had set this up 3 years ago and for some reason it stopped working. I was on chat with Google support and they couldn't figure it out while I was following the steps in this video. I deleted the old alias and rebuilt the alias with this videos help. You are better than google and gmail support. Maybe we can collaborate with stuff. I am a real estate coach. BTW- Thank you so much. You made it so damn easy!
