I love the foreshadowing of the lift scene. Roy is bouncing a bouncy ball. But you can't see that initially, you just hear it. The way it cuts from the previous scene, it could also have been Jen wearing some wide heavy boots she got from the nurse when asking her what she should wear now. Just like the ones she gets stomped with later.
