AEW needs a brand split but it should be done the WWE use to do theirs. Two separate brands with their own roster, own set of titles, and their own PPVs outside of the Big 4. With that being said WWE needs to get rid of their brand split because it no longer matters. People can say Raw and SmackDown feel different all they want, that becomes untrue when Cody Rhodes shows up on Raw and Liv Morgan shows up on SmackDown. It also becomes untrue when everyone is on NXT.

I disagree. AEW is a B-Side company with B-Side talent. The "brand split" killed it for me all those years ago with WWE. WWE is the brand. Whos to say all those people wouldn't have been champion without the split? Without the split, the storylines would have been written differently. They very well could have still been champions. Hell, we could of had BETTER storylines and/or matches if they werent split and everyone was able to work with anyone. "Brand splits" are meaningless anyway because its not like theyre truly a separate entity. If AEW splits to A & B, for example, its not like the AEW B brand can take on RAW... Its completely pointless in my humble opinion, and only harms the company by holding back and limiting the possibilities.

Fantastic perspective! With McMahon running things and no brand split, certain superstars didn’t fit the criteria of what Vince wanted in his top stars. Big, buff, fancy talking. Foreign wrestlers were heels, period. Booker T is another great example as we may have never gotten to see his legendary work as King Booker. There’s a similar trend starting to develop in AEW, but just by way of a swollen roster. A brand split would give a dedicated time slot to a select amount of wrestlers in which the audience knows who they’ll be seeing, what storylines will be progressing, & which championships may be defended as you would imagine that certain championships would be brand exclusive as the stars would be. Ultimately, stars are what you will achieve from this because they have more opportunity. It’s tough to split a max of two hours of TV time between 80+ wrestlers three times a week and make the audience care about more than a dozen at best

MVP is actually going to do more than be a backstage producer and/or coach in AEW unlike Mark Henry and Paul Wight. Plus he can probably still go in the ring, Mark Henry never had a match in AEW and the only time Paul Wight had matches in AEW they were tag team and multi-tag.

I don't hate it but at the same time I think Wheeler Yuta should have stayed face and Grizzled Young Veterans should have joined instead of keeping Claudio Castagnoli and adding PAC. It would have made sense to have Jon Moxley and the GYV vs. Bryan Danielson and FTR; PAC didn't need to join and TBH I think Bang Bang Gang should be trios champions with Wheeler Yuta seeks revenge on Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli goes off and does his own thing. But like I said I don't hate it and despite everything else I said I'm enjoying it for the most part.
