I live in San Francisco, California, where your total monthly budget would pay for only one half of someone's rent for a 1 bedroom apartment. (I live on Nob Hill, where a studio apartment in the building across the street rents for $6,000 monthly.) So IMO your monthly expenses are ridiculously low. (Indeed, that's one of the things I look forward to if I retire in the Philippines, where a ₱300,000 monthly pension allows one to literally live like a king, with servants, driver, and even a court jester if I want one.) I'm in total agreement with your lifestyle. For me 70° Fahrenheit is a hot day, so living there I too would be running the AC 24/7, I don't care what it cost, functioning AC is priority number one. Also cooking, the only cooking I have done in the past 30 years is using the microwave (which isn't really cooking). So the most I will be doing is frying a couple eggs in the morning, but that's it. I'll be dining out every day, thank you. P.S. I read a financial report that set forth living cost comparisons for the Philippines as compared to Western nations. For us here in the States the cost of living in the Philippines is a whopping 70 percent LOWER than it is here.

Just a suggestion…Maybe you can make your videos at least ten minutes long. Not much information can be conveyed in less time. Also, when you are monetized, you will need space for advertising. It’s quite possible that people will not waste their time on the exceedingly short videos, not expecting much information. God bless

I have to 100 cities in Philippines in 42 if of 82 provinces, and Duma is the best city for those who just love to walk around. You feel like you really get to see the whole city in a few days. Piapi has a very nice vibe, but lovin' the area of the Lee Plaza to the Bell Tower.

Just some constructive criticism. You hold the camera far too close to your face and you swivel to change the background view too quickly. Go well.

You're young, new there, a fresher, hardly any life experience, what do you expect? Nature and its little animals will be delighted to attack and frighten you. There are crocodiles and snakes, mainly in the provinces. Traffic is uninsurable for your young life. Never drive at night yourself! So, go to Mindanao and get to know the real Philippine life. Don't buy anything for the next 12 months, and have some fun. You are a hot currency. But stay awake.

I was staying there already 3 times, and it was always good The Landlord was easy to deal with. Also no burning of stuff. The staff is also very helpful. I am not connected to them, so maybe a one time thing. Be back in a few weeks.

( long story but lies involved ), one thing though, if your walking all ok, but stay sitting, it"s annoying you moving all the time ! and your just in one area , just sit and have a conversation with the viewer, much more enjoyable then you constantly moving , hope your channel progresses well, subscribed today, Duma could be my destination as returning early 2025, cheers and San Miguel !

This video should serve as a warning to all those who forget they are traveling to a developing country and there will be many issues you have to accept. The only alternative is to go back home if you can adjust. It’s not for everyone. No shame in accepting you can’t adjust to the situation.

I was in Duma in April and May... it was a lot cooler there than Florida when I got home in June. Burning rubish, chickens, dogs, trash.... that's everywhere in PH. I walked 1 1/2 hours every day and also ran most mornings and Duma's car pollution was a lot harder on my lungs. As a younger dude looking for more excitement why the hell aren't you in Makati or BGC? But whatever, you do you. Best of luck.

City boys should stay in the city. It sounds like you a lot of respiratory issues. Burning trash and pollen bother you but all the air pollution from vehicles in the city are a-okay.

I avail their go reward card and I've collected enough points to get a few trips for free with Cebu Pacific which is owned by the same company. You can also use it for accommodations in hotels that are participating or use it to pay for groceries

The Anthropology museum is in the same area with the university church. Its in a building called Hibbard Hall and right in front of it, is the statue of the founder, Dr. David Hibbard. Its open to public and with special permission, you can take videos inside.

I was ripped off here in Thailand, landlady charged 70% over the normal price for elec. When I found out, I hammered the AC, then I had my father send me a device, it reversed the meter. lol.... Now in my new place, I know where the meter is, water too. I keep all bills and take photos of everything each month. No problems and happy for 7 years. I would name and shame the place. I would also video the landlady and whoever I deal with when renting anything. I also photograph any bikes I rent, the underside too. Prevention is better than the cure. Thanks for sharing, information is power.
