One of my friend got somehow hacked when he can't play his screen was freezing and it turned off and now was fine

I figured this out recently, but it only seems to work after you've eaten X amount of the dots.

Commenting a couple years later lol The thing is that I think people blew this issue way out of proportion. It's just speedruns, people playing a video game with a lot of skill. Cheating, in the grand scheme of things, changes absolutely nothing. You just strike the record and move on. What does make a difference is how people treated each other through this whole thing. Dream got called a cheater, an asshole, all sorts of things, and then on the other side, I'm pretty sure that the speedrun moderators received threats from Dream's fans. All over just this tiny little thing. If we take Dream's word for it, he didn't even know he was cheating, he just forgot to take one of his regular video recording mods out of the folder (a lesson to use MultiMC or other mod managing launcher lol). Of course, he did also say and do some questionable and perhaps silly things in trying to defend his honor and integrity, which wasn't particularly cool, but I think he's probably learned his lesson by now. A lesson to learn for the rest of us is to remember to treat each other with respect. There's not many reasons to throw human decency out the window, but lots of occasions where it is, and it just divides us into two camps, on every issue. Show respect, use reason, have an open mind.
