My husband & I did this cruise last fall - fabulous sites but the best was the staff and Marc our cruise director topping the best was portion control eating for all meals deliciously prepared! This is the best way to cruise the Rhine with AmaWaterways!!

Fantastic video, we board in December this year! Just a question re the dining. The main restaurant can you get the normals like steaks etc or is it only fine dining. Thanks
Hi Jake. Glad you enjoyed the video. Yes you can absolutely get anything anywhere meaning this. I either ordered from the menus or sometimes I would order something like a steak or fish that was not on the menu. Basically anything you want they will get it done. If it is a custom order they will make it available the following day. We wanted Swordfish so we ordered it on a Monday and it was ready for us on Tuesday for dinner. I hope that makes sense?

Hi Jeff. It was available but after seeing footage of a radon jelly fish and a few sponges I did not think it was worth it. I have no regrets.
Was there Wi-Fi on the ship? Did it cost anything, were their data limits?
@@jeffbrowning8534Yes we had amazing Wi-Fi. We were always blown away that we were in the middle of nowhere and were able to face-time with our friends and family daily and it was included 100%

Hi there. Glad you enjoyed it. I see no difference between the 5th or 6th floor. Either one will be amazing. I probably would not want the 8th floor as that is where the helicopters take off and land from all day long so it may be noisy? You will love it. It is such an adventure.

Great video. Can I ask why Beaches as opposed to Sandals and is there a difference?
Hi DS. Sandals is for adults only. Beaches is more geared towards families. We chose beaches for the scuba diving. Turks and Caicos is a fantastic dive destination.
If you both had Covid 19, and contagious during the cruise, why didn’t you mask up, especially when on tour buses , shore excursions, and through the airport and airplane? Or when you tested, it was a false positive?
It was the veranda it's not even built by beaches they went bankrupt. Beaches kills that island they pay no taxes

Which dive centre did you go to?
Hi Toby. Did you watch the video? We dove all dive with Beaches. We originally booked outside of the Beaches resort with Provo divers thinking that Beaches would not be taking us to good dive sites but they were awesome. Every site was fantastic and it's all included in the price!

Had my daughter's wedding there in April, and it was exceptional from start to finish. Plan on going back again, and we rarely go to the same place twice. Shout out to Erika, the wedding coordinator. The absolute best!!

Hi Max. Glad you enjoyed the video and yes I agree the weather was far from great. I was so pissed off during that bike ride in Trier. We were so cold and wet but the funny thing is it is hilarious when we watch it back so it was worth it. It's all about the content. Check out my Galapagos video. That's a good one also and stay tuned we go to Antarctica in January. I'm hoping to create something epic on that adventure. Thanks again for watching.
Thank you for this video. Hubby and I are planning for 2025. Don't know which river cruise company to go with yet. We want something with everything included, tips, port fees and important to me is the bar with spirits as I don't drink wine.
You sound like us. I looked at videos and did tons of research before deciding on Ama Waterways. They just looked the most upscale. I'm like you. I don't want to be nickled and dimed. Charge me what you are going to charge me but that's it! The price we paid included everything. Port charges, airfare, tips, excursions and yes even booze. They have a happy hour every night from around 6-7 with an open bar. Beer and wine are free at lunch and dinner. I believe the only thing we had to pay for which was minimal was some laundry that we did.
We have been on 3 Uniworld riverboat cruises. Exceptional! Have also traveled on 3 or 4 Viking riverboats. They were nice enough but not the same service and really beautiful decor as Uniworld.
